Te teaching of the canon law in the Major Seminary of the diocese of Siedlce in the years 1918-2018. Te draf of the problem Te subject of the scientifc article is the teaching of canon law in the Major Seminary of the diocese of Siedlce in the years 1918-2018. Te author uses the historical-legal and dogmatic-legal method. Te author analyzes the teaching of canon law in the context of intellectual and pastoral formation, which are involved in the preparation of the can-didates for the ordination of the presbyterate. Te study of the canon law has always been one of the basis for the priesthood’s instrumentarium. Te author analyzes the norms of canon law, which form the basis for the teaching of the canon law in the Siedlce seminary, presents scientifc profles of seminar lecturers, textbooks and didactics. Te teaching of the canon law was based in 1917 on the Codex Iuris Canonici, and from 1983 on the Code of Canon Law, whose norms are interpreted in the light of the ecclesiology of the Vaticanum Secundum.

Przedmiotem artykułu jest nauczanie prawa kanonicznego w Wyższym Seminarium Duchownym diecezji siedleckiej w latach 1918-2018. Autor używa metody historyczno-prawnej i dogmatyczno-prawnej. Autor nauczanie prawa kanonicznego rozpatruje w kontekście formacji intelektualne i duszpasterskie, które składają się na przygotowanie kandydatów do święceń prezbiteratu. Studium prawa kanonicznego zawsze należało do podstawowego instrumentarium kapłańskiego. Autor analizuje normy prawa kanonicznego, stanowiące podstawę nauczania prawa kanonicznego w siedleckim seminarium duchownym, przedstawia naukowe sylwetki seminaryjnych wykładowców, podręczniki oraz Nauczanie prawa kanonicznego w WSD diecezji siedleckiej w latach 1918-2018. Zarys problematyki dydaktykę. Nauczanie prawa kanonicznego opierało się od 1917 r. na Codex Iuris Canonici, a od 1983 r. na Kodeksie Prawa Kanonicznego, którego normy są interpretowane w świetle eklezjologii Vaticanum Secundum.

Ecclesiastical legislator committed conference of bishops in each country to develop a program of priestly formation. Polish Bishops Conference has issued standards that have been approved by the Congregation for Catholic Education in 1999. Issue of this document coincided with the end of the Second Polish Plenary Synod. His resolutions have some indications as to the formation in the seminary. These documents drew attention to the fact that the contemporary socio-cultural changes significantly influenced the appearance of gaps in the human formation of persons who want to become priests. The legislator stressed that the realization of humanity in this most important task seminarian seminary formation. It contributes to the personal development of the candidate, as well as in the long term, helps build relationships in pastoral work. Important elements of human formation seminarian is to achieve emotional maturity, mature form of freedom and the formation of responsible conscience. The introduction of the propaedeutical period and psychology to enable the candidate to the priesthood obtaining mature human formation. They are useful in even out difference and fill gaps in this sphere of formation.
