El objetivo del presente artículo consiste en presentar y analizar el concepto del aspecto en el sistema verbal del español y del polaco. Además, el autor pretende valorar de manera general el papel que desempeña el aspecto en el uso de las formas de los pretéritos imperfecto eindefinido en español.

Celem niniejszego artykułu jest opis i analiza pojęcia aspektu w systemie werbalnym języka hiszpańskiego i polskiego. Ponadto autor dokonuje ogólnej oceny wpływu roli aspektu na użycie form werbalnych w opozycji temporalnej imperfecto/indefinido.

The main aim of this article is to describe and analyse the concept of aspect in Spanish and Polish verb systems. The author also presents some remarks on the role of aspect in the use of the imperfect and the preterit in Spanish.

El objetivo del presente artículo es describir la tipología clásica de las clases aspectuales de Vendler (1967), es decir, se intentará llevar a cabo un estudio general de esta clasificación. Además, el autor pretende reflexionar sobre la naturaleza composicional de la aspectualidad.

The main aim of this article is to describe the classical typology of aspectual classes proposed by Vendler (1967). For that reason, the article is devoted to a general study of this classification. The author also reflects on the compositional nature of aspect.
