The author of the article describes in detail the Slovak literature which was translated in Poland in the years 2007—2013. In her article she also deals with contemporary Polish publishers market which publishes translations of „small”, „peripheral” literatures. She analyzes translation literature with view of its entry into a new literary context.

Vo svojom príspevku sa zaoberá súčasným poľským knižným trhom, ktorý zverejňuje preklady z „malých“, „periférnych“ literatúr. Podrobne analýzuje prekladovú literatúru z ohľadom na jej vstup do nového literarného kontextu.

Marta Buczek, autorka článku zaoberá sa problémom stereotypov v knihe slovenského spisovateľa Dušana Taragela pod titulom "Rozprávky pre neposlušné deti a ich starostlivých rodičov" publikovanej v roku 1997. Článok sa zameriava na pôvodný text a jeho poľský preklad uverejnený v roku 2005, ktorého autorom je Tomasz Grabiński. Zbierka rozprávok Dušana Taragela je zaujímavý príklad použitia stereotypov v literatúre. Autor používa dobre známe stereotypy a núti ich k plneniu úloh v rozpore s ich základnou sémantikou, čo vedie k transformácii jednotlivých zložiek stereotypov a zahŕňa nové atypické štrukturálne vzťahy. Rozprávky Taragela uskutočňujú špecifickú hru so stereotypami pomocou žánru grotesky. Zaujímavé je ako sú tieto translatologické problémy riešené v preklade. Autorka článku sa snaží odpovedať na otázku, čí stereotypy sú prekladateľné do iných jazykov, čí sú prekladateľné v akte kultúrnej komunikácie.

The author of the article raises the problem of stereotypes in the Slovak collection of short stories book under the title "Fairy Tales for Naughty Children and Their Caring Parents" (1997) written by Dušan Taragel. The article focuses on the original text and its Polish translation by Tomasz Grabiński published in 2005. Dušan Taragel‘s short stories are an interesting example of using stereotypes in literature. He uses and forces well known sterotypes to perform tasks inconsistent with their basic semantics which leads to a transformation of the individual components of the stereotype and includes the new atypical structural relationships. Taragel’s short stories undertake a peculiar play with stereotypes using of the genre of the grotesque. An interesting matter is how the Polish translation deals with this and is carried out at all levels play. The article tries to answer the question if stereotypes may be translatable into the second language when the code changes, if they can be translatable in an act of cultural communication.

Autor článku skúma najnovšie preklady slovenskej literatúry v Poľsku v roku 2015. Medzi veľmi dobrých a známych slovenských autorov, ktorých preklady boli nedávno publikované, patria súčasní a moderní predstavitelia mladej generácie (Pavol Rankov, Peter Krištúfek, Maroš Krajňak, Jana Beňová) a staršej generácie (Pavel Vilikovský, Daniela Kapitáňová). Ich knihy boli veľmi dobre prijaté poľskými príjemcami a to vedie k tomu, že slovenská literatúra v Poľsku je čítaná s rastúcim záujmom. Tento článok berie do úvahy aj poľské preklady slovenskej poézie. Z prieskumu vyplýva neustále znižovanie počtu prekladov tohto druhu literatúry. V roku 2015 boli publikované len tri malé antológie poézie. Týmto spôsobom slovenskú poéziu zastupuje niekoľko menej známych miestnych básnikov (Radovan Brenkus a Pavol Hudák).

The author of the article considers the latest translations of Slovak literature in Poland in 2015. Among very well -known and valued Slovak authors whose translations have been published recently are contemporary and modern authors of the younger generation (Pavol Rankov, Peter Krištúfek, Maroš Krajňak, Jana Beňova) and the older generation (Pavel Vilikovský, Daniela Kapitáňová). Their books were very well received by Polish recipients and it occurs that Slovak literature in Poland is read with steadily growing interest. The article concerns Polish translations of Slovak poetry as well. The survey shows a decreasing number of translations of this kind of literature. In 2015 only three small anthologies of poetry were published. In this way, Slovak poetry was represented by a few local poets (Radovan Brenkus and Pavol Hudák).

Príspevok autorky Marty Buczek sa týka slovenskej literatúry preloženej do poľského jazyka v posledných rokoch 2013 a 2014. Autorka sa zaoberá problémom prekladu súčasnej slovenskej literatúry, ktorá skúma problematiku stredoeurópskej totožnosti v stredoeurópskom priestore. Uvažuje o slovenských dielach a ich recepcii v poľskom horizonte čitateľov. Podrobne analyzuje preklady, ktoré v poľskom priestore plnia úlohu mediácie, podporujú porozumenie a pochopenie medzi dvoma kultúrami patriacimi ku spoločnému stredoeurópskemu kruhu. Posledné poľské preklady slovenskej súčasnej literatúry, medzi ktoré patria prózy Pavla Rankova, Pavla Vilikovského a eseje Rudolfa Chmela, dopĺňajú v poľskom priestore znalosť slovenskej kultúry, literatury a dejín. Taktiež zvyšujú povedomie poľského čitateľa, jeho citlivosť a schopnosť vnímania innej a rôznorodej kultúry. Inšpirujú skúmanie a objavovanie nových významov rôznorodého stredoeurópskeho sveta.

The article concerns Slovak literature translated into Polish in recent years, 2013 and 2014. The author focuses on the problem of the translation of contemporary Slovak literature that examines the issue of Central European identity in Central Europe. She considers the latest Slovak literary works and their reception in the Polish horizon, as well as analyses translations which in the Polish horizon play the role of mediation, and promote understanding between two cultures belonging to the common Central European circle. Recent translations of contemporary Slovak literature, including Pavol Rankov, Pavel Vilikovský, Rudolf Chmel, compliment the knowledge about Slovak culture, literature and history among Polish readers. They also raise their awareness for diverse sensitivity and ability of perception. They also inspire exploration and search for new meanings.
