The article presents issues related to the socio-legal status of women in the tradition of contemporary Islam. In Islamic countries, due to a very strong influence of religion and tradition, the problem of the position and role of women in Muslim society should be considered through the prism of religious and moral precepts of Islam, family law and Islamic tradition, relating to various aspects of family life. These three research planes cannot be clearly distinguished, because each of them is part of the cultural synthesis. The authors discuss some chosen aspects of a Muslim woman's life in the field of family law, that is marriage and family.

Artykuł przedstawia zagadnienia związane ze społeczno-prawnym statusem współczesnej kobiety w tradycji Islamu. W krajach islamu, ze względu na niezwykle silny wpływ religii i tradycji, problem pozycji i roli kobiety w społeczeństwie muzułmańskim należy rozważać przez pryzmat religijno-moralnych wskazań islamu, ustawodawstwa rodzinnego oraz tradycji islamicznych, dotyczących różnych aspektów życia rodzinnego. Te trzy płaszczyzny badawcze nie dają się ściśle wyodrębnić, ponieważ każda z nich jest częścią kulturowej syntezy. Autorzy omawiają wybrane aspekty życia muzułmanki, tj. posług religijnych, prawa do modlitwy, dziedziczenia, uzyskania wykształcenia, pracy zawodowej.

The article presents the issues related to the socio-legal status of women in the tradition of contemporary Islam. In Islamic countries, due to the extremely strong influence of religion and tradition, the problem of the position and role of women in Muslim society must be seen through the prism of religious and moral readings of Islam, family law and Islamic traditions on various aspects of family life. These three research areas can not be strictly distinguished because each of them is a part of the cultural synthesis. The authors discuss some aspects of Muslim life, such as religious services, the right to pray, inheritance, education, professional work.

Der Artikel bedenkt den sozial-rechtlichen Status der heutigen Frau in der islamischen Tradition. Die islamischen Ländern, aufgrund des extrem starken Einflusses der Religion und Tradition, muss das Problem der Position und der Rolle der Frau in der muslimischen Gesellschaft durch das Prisma der religiösen und moralischen Werte des Islams, des Familienrechts und der islamischen Tradition über verschiedene Aspekte des Familienlebens gesehen werden. Diese drei Ebenen kann man nicht streng extrahieren, weil jede davon ein Teil der kulturellen Synthese ist. Die Autoren besprechen einige Aspekte des muslimischen Lebens, wie Gottesdienste, das Recht zu beten, Vererbung, die Möglichkeit der Ausbildung und Arbeit.
