Poniższy artykuł definiuje i opisuje problem międzypokoleniowych relacji rodzinnych, koncentrując się na jakości komunikacji dotyczącej spraw seksu i seksualności między rodzicami i ich dorastającymi dziećmi. Jest to próba prezentacji różnych koncepcji oraz teorii na temat domowej edukacji seksualnej, obecnych w publicznej i akademickiej debacie. Nastolatki uznaje się za zbyt młode, żeby posiadać wiedzę na temat seksu, a zarazem zbyt seksualnie pobudzone, by można było im ją powierzyć. Artykuł, poprzez prezentację wywiadów fokusowych z trzydziestoma dwoma respondentami obojga płci z Warszawy w wieku 11–19 lat pokazuje, jak rodzice poruszają się wśród tych sprzecznych dyskursów, próbując zrozumieć młodzieńczą seksualność. Celem badania było poznanie stopnia rodzicielskiego zaangażowania w edukację seksualną z punktu widzenia adolescentów.

The following article aims to identify and describe the problem of intergenerational relations in a family, focusing on the quality of parent-adolescent communication about sex and sexuality. The paper attempts to present a variety of conceptual perspectives and the range of ideas about home-based sex education in the public and academic debate. Teenagers are deemed too young to know about sex, but too sexually driven to be trusted with information. Drawing on focus group interviews with thirty-two boys and girls from Warsaw, aged 11 to 19 years, this article shows how parents navigate these contradictory discourses in making sense of adolescent sexuality. The purpose of this study was to explore adolescents’ perception of parental involvement in sex education.

Experience, knowledge of the history and life wisdom are the greatest advantages of being old. They are related to bringing up the younger generation, forming them and passing over the tradition. In this article an attempt was made to present the value of grandparents for shaping the patriotic attitude of their grandchildren. Patriotism, relations between generations in family, and the influence of tradition on raising the younger generation and tasks of older people related to them had also been described. The following article presents the results of research on this topic among students.

Celem artykułu była prezentacja zjawiska solidarności kobiet ujętych w kontekst Strajku Kobiet. Solidarność kobieca przedstawiona została w odniesieniu do dwóch kategorii kobiet. Pierwszej reprezentowanej przez kobiety znajdujące się w fazie ontogenetycznej, w której możliwa jest prokreacja. Druga dotyczyła tych kobiet, które nie mogą już urodzić dziecka. Analizując zebrane dane empiryczne autorce chodziło o uzyskanie odpowiedzi na pytanie o to, jaki charakter ma solidarność kobieca, zwłaszcza ta, która łączy pokolenia. Zjawisko solidarności kobiet zaprezentowane zostało w dwóch perspektywach: manifestującym się w codziennym życiu rodzin, a także mającym miejsce ze względu na wyjątkową sytuację społeczną, jaką był Strajk Kobiet.

The article aimed to present the phenomenon of solidarity of women included in the context of the 2020–2021 women’s strike protests in Poland (called the Women Strike). Women’s solidarity was presented pertaining to two categories of women. The first, represented by women in the ontogenetic phase, in which procreation is possible. The second concerned those women who could no longer give birth to a child. By analyzing the collected empirical data, the author wanted to describe the character of women’s solidarity, especially the one that connects generations. The phenomenon of women’s solidarity has been presented from two perspectives. It manifested in the everyday life of families. It was also seen under the exceptional social situation, which was the Women Strike.

Celem artykułu jest wskazanie znaczenia i roli polityki rodzinnej dla solidarności rodzinnej i odpowiedź na pytanie: w jaki sposób polityka rodzinna uzupełnia solidarność rodzinną typu funkcjonalnego? Odwołując się do modeli idealnych polityki rodzinnej Singrid Leitner, do procesów familizacji–defamilizacji opieki oraz genderyzacji–degenderyzacji Stevena Saxonberga, omówiono instrumenty polskiej polityki rodzinnej. Próbowano wskazać, jak działania polityki rodzinnej uzupełniają solidarność rodzinną w odniesieniu do funkcjonującego modelu opieki. Odnosząc się wreszcie do analiz międzynarodowych, próbowano określić typ polskiej polityki rodzinnej w obszarze (de)familizacji–(de)genderyzacji.

The purpose of this article is to indicate the importance and role of family policy for family solidarity and to answer the question of how family policy complements family-type solidarity of the functional type. The instruments of Polish family policy are discussed in reference to S. Leitner’s ideal models of family policies and to S. Saxonberg’s processes of familization–defamilization of care and genderization–egenderization. An attempt is made to indicate how family policy complements family solidarity with respect to the functioning care model and to determine the type of Polish family policy in the area of (de) familization–(de) genderization, in reference to international analyses.

W niniejszym artykule została zwrócona uwaga na liczne dylematy, które towarzyszą współczesnej rodzinie, która nadal, pomimo wielu przemian strukturalno-funkcjonalnych, realizuje spory zakres zobowiązań w ramach niepisanego kodeksu moralnego nakazującego wzajemne świadczenie różnych usług i form wsparcia. W pierwszej części artykułu została przybliżona istota solidarności rodzinnej, w części drugiej – główne zasady, na których się ona opiera. W części trzeciej przedstawione zostały dylematy związane z realizacją zasad solidarności rodzinnej wobec najstarszego pokolenia w rodzinie. W części czwartej artykułu przedstawiono dylematy związane z realizacją zasad solidarności rodzinnej wobec młodego pokolenia w rodzinie.

This article draws attention to the many dilemmas that arise in the modern family; despite many structural and functional changes, the family continues to face a large range of obligations under an unwritten moral code that requires the mutual provision of various services and forms of support. The first part of the article discusses the essence of family solidarity, while the second part considers the main principles on which this solidarity is based. The third part presents dilemmas connected with implementing principles of family solidarity in regard to the eldest generation in the family, and the fourth part covers dilemmas related to implementing principles of family solidarity in regard to the young generation in the family.
