This paper addresses the problem of profile education of mentally retarded children in the new conditions of the special education system. It is noted that in a boarding school for children of special importance and purposeful work of the teaching staff on the formation of the individual student with impaired mental and physical development, its social and psychological rehabilitation, employment adjustment successful socialization in society, which is consistent with current innovations, promoted modernization of traditional approaches to prepare students for independent living. The authors offer the ways of solving practical problems of pedagogical profile education of orphans and children deprived of parental care, requiring correction intelligence development. The essence of research in this area, which was the development of evidence-based models of Vocational Rehabilitation, which is implemented in the system profile education of mentally retarded orphan children without parental care, in the direction of agricultural-based education center as a condition optimal professional fulfillment of children’s integration into society and testing of the developed model in the practice of educational institution of that category. The authors describe a material that highlights the progress of research and teaching experiment «Vocational rehabilitation of orphans and children deprived of parental care, requiring correction of cognitive development by organizing training profile in terms of the education center». This paper presents the results of experimental testing of models Vocational rehabilitation of orphans with intellectual disabilities on the basis of special education boarding and results of a comparative analysis of the results of the monitoring of the dynamics of student achievements groups of vocational education within a few years of training. It is noted that the complex of measures on social and labor rehabilitation of students creates optimal conditions for further rehabilitation facility inmates. The conclusions on the feasibility for further implementation of structural and organizational model profile education of orphans and children deprived of parental care, requiring correction of intelligence development on the basis of special education boarding.

The problem of the Ukrainian language extracurricular activities’ organization in specialized philological classes is discussed. The article is aimed at analyses of the research-pedagogical literature that describes peculiarities of the Ukrainian language extracurricular activities’ organization in the specialized education. Research methodology included the use of theoretical and practical research methods. The question of research of extracurricular activities in domestic and foreign lingo didactics is considered. Trends of extracurricular activities' organization in a specialized school are outlined. Definitional analysis of the concept «out-of-class work», «off-hour work», «supplementary classes», «extracurricular activities» is carried out. Definition of «extracurricular activities in specialized philological classes» is suggested. The author underlines that being properly organized lesson involves the use of language material of extracurricular activities. Being well organized extracurricular classes enhance effective program material mastering, influence speech, intellectual, moral and ethical development of the individual. During the course of extracurricular activities students improve language, speech, communicative, social and cultural competence. Extracurricular activities in a specialized school are a powerful tool for professional orientation of students. The tasks of Ukrainian language extracurricular activities are in close interrelationship with the general objectives of Ukrainian language learning and have a common goal. There is an obvious need for extracurricular activities aimed at significant improvement of general language culture of students, enriching them with knowledge and skills, completion of vocational orientation, scientific popularization of the subject. The problem of improving the quality of extracurricular activities as the means of supplementary language education of students has always been very important. Various aspects of Ukrainian language extracurricular activities are considered in research papers describing content, methodology, objectives, purpose, principles, methods, organizational issues, ways and means. The conclusion about the urgency of the problem within the period of educational modernization strategy and prognosis of future research is carried out.

The methodological aspects of formation of the future geography teachers’ readiness for specialized education of senior pupils are revealed in the article. The essence of the concepts “methodology”, “methodology of the formation of the future geography teachers’ readiness for specialized education of senior pupils”, “readiness for specialized education” are described. The author emphasizes that consideration of the content of professional training of students as an integrated structure predetermines the necessity of building methodology, which is characterized by a complex organization of educational process, an organic combination of various forms of training, independent work, research work, teaching practice. Each of these forms of work is characterized by their technologies and methods of problem solving. The results of independent work, research activities of students can be designed in the form of scientific abstracts, presentations, reports, training projects, research papers, creative works, writing term papers, theses and dissertations. The author determines the stages of the researched readiness (organizational and motivational, informative and educational, technological, analytical). The determined directions of further activity in the training of the future geography teachers to high school profile education, according to the proposed methodology are viewed. They should be: - to use additional information as for profile study to the content of the methodology of teaching of Geography; - to develop a course “The profile teaching of Geography in a modern school”; - to improve individual, independent, scientific-research work of students, to develop themes for the course and qualification works concerning the problems of profile education; - to improve tasks of pedagogical practice taking to consideration requirements of profile education.
