In the presented paper, we pay attention to ethnic and lingual factors applied in the creation and functioning of the regional non-standard speleonymy. The aim of the study is to analyse specific forms of determination of the lingual and extralingual aspects of speleonyms via the ethnolingual elements. Our claims are based on the results of the empirical research of speleonyms (names of caves and abysses) from the territory of the Slovenský Karst National Park, located in the south-eastern part of Slovakia near the Slovak-Hungarian state border. It is an area with intense Slovak-Hungarian ethnic and lingual contacts. Besides local contacts, however, the form of speleonyms is also determined by the ethnolingual character of speleological groups doing research in the given area. The analysed material is gained from the updated electronic version of Zoznam jaskýň Slovenskej republiky (List of Caves in the Slovak Republic). At the end of the paper, the studied set of data is compared with the standardized forms of speleonyms and their forms found in tourist maps in order to describe the position of speleonyms of Hungarian origin from the viewpoint of language competition and language status of the Hungarian language in Slovakia.

V předkládaném příspěvku věnujeme pozornost etnickým a jazykovým faktorům uplatňujícím se při tvorbě a fungování regionální nestandardizované speleonymie. Cílem práce je analyzovat konkrétní formy determinace jazykové a mimojazykové stránky speleonym prostřednictvím etnojazykových prvků. Naše tvrzení se opírají o výsledky empirického výzkumu speleonym (názvů jeskyň a propastí) z území Národního parku Slovenský kras rozprostírajícího se v jihovýchodní části Slovenska v blízkosti slovensko-maďarské státní hranice. Jde o oblast s intenzivními slovensko� -maďarskými etnickými a jazykovými kontakty. Jazykovou podobu speleonym však kromě lokálních kontaktových prvků determinuje rovněž etnojazykový charakter jeskyňářských skupin realizujících výzkum na daném teritoriu. Analyzovaný materiál čerpáme z aktualizované elektronické verze Zoznamu jaskýň Slovenskej republiky. V závěru studie věnujeme pozornost komparaci zkoumaného souboru se standardizovanými podobami speleonym a s podobami zachycenými v turistických mapách s cílem přiblížit pozici speleonym maďarského původu z hlediska jazykové konkurence a jazykového statusu maďarštiny na Slovensku.
