The history of research on the biography and artistry of Hryhorija Skoworoda has been in existence for more than two centuries. But the rich spiritual legacy of this author has not been thoroughly explored by our contemporaries. The most difficult problem is the study of the mystical worldview of Skoworoda, which is reflected in his religious-philosophical works.

Historia badań nad biografią i twórczością Hryhorija Skoworody trwa już ponad dwa stulecia. Tym nie mniej, spuścizna duchowa ukraińskiego myśliciela, jakże bogata w treści religijno-filozoficzne, nadal nie została zgłębiona w pełni przez naszych współczesnych. Pod względem poznawczo-teoretycznym, jednym z najbardziej skomplikowanych zagadnień w zakresie analizy dzieł Skoworody, wydaje się problem adekwatnej interpretacji mistycznego światopoglądu ich autora.
