Artykuł porusza wybrane zagadnienia związane z istotą wzorców umownych w świetle ustawy o działalności ubezpieczeniowej i reasekuracyjnej. Autorka omawia istotę ogólnych warunków ubezpieczenia i innych dokumentów stosowanych przez ubezpieczyciela przy zawieraniu umowy ubezpieczenia oraz stosunek regulacji cytowanej ustawy do przepisów Kodeksu cywilnego.

In this article the author reviews selected issues related to the essence of standard form contracts in view of the Insurance and Reinsurance Activity Act. The author discusses the essence of general terms and conditions of insurance contracts and other documents used by the insurer. The author also describes how the Act of 2015 should be applied, along with the provisions of the Civil Code, to standard form contracts.
