The feminist breakthrough in the sixties involved the significant change of scientific paradigm. Feminist oriented scientists emphasize the importance of women’s experience and understanding in research process. The new category in social analysis concerns the gender term associated with cultural factors. Feminism broadens the definition of politics and democracy, including in political analysis issues which up to that moment were beyond the area of interest. Changing the way of social scientific explanation as a result of feminist theory and practice also concerns changes in research methodology.
