The paper presents some important statistical associations between the level of education on the one hand, and the length and quality of life , on the other. Major characteristics used for describing the quality of life include: general well-being, satisfaction on education level achieved, access to Internet, willingness to take part in community life. The data used in this paper come from Eurostat, OECD, Poland’s public statistics and Poland’s Social Survey 2011.

W artykule wskazano na istotne statystyczne współzależności pomiędzy poziomem wykształcenia a długością i jakością życia. Wśród zmiennych charakteryzujących jakość życia uwzględniono m.in.: satysfakcję z własnego wykształcenia, zadowolenie z życia, dostęp do Internetu, aktywność w życiu społecznym. Wykorzystano dane z badań statystyki publicznej w Polsce, informacje OECD i Eurostatu, a także wyniki Diagnozy Społecznej 2011.
