The main contribution of the study should be a better understanding of the world concerns behaviour during extraordinary political and economic crisis. No doubt this is also the beginning of the Second World War. As the key topic of the study was therefore chosen readjustment of accepted concern strategy in the time closely antecedent to the world conflict. What was assessed was its complexity especially with respect to geographical allocation of new business activities and in terms of its structure. The performed analysis of Baťa capital transfer proved that the strategy, with respect to the direction of the expansion, developed from safety-economic factors to only economic factors. The capital investment (in the form of new built factory complex, exported technical machinery, Baťa products and transferred qualified labour force) so in compliance with strategic targets gave onto the area of forming western allies block and with some kind of delay also onto the middle-European countries represented especially by Nazi regime and its satellites. In the study were also assessed the impacts arising from newly ac-cepted strategy for every-day concern work. The analysis of Baťa export, storage, raw-material policy and applied research proved that by concatenation of partial programmes acquired present business activities new unintended properties and functions. These were reflected in the organizational concern structure, in the implementation of acquired knowledge into the production and in farther production programmes generating. This way the whole was enhanced with new features that did not belong to its partial components.
