The human being started as a self-educated person, this way managing to improve his living. For his descendants to avoid failures, he started to share his ancestors’ experience. When some people’s knowledge acquirement became big, they were called the sages, and among of them became eventually teachers, that took the role of transmitting the useful information related to life environmental conditions they lived. In time, their needs became more and more complex and their knowledge deeper. In the act of teaching itself, teachers create a shortcut between necessity and solving it, going beyond failures. Obviously, the present society is technologized, where the human being uses technology but he also searches for himself. This quest should be naturally performed with the help of the educator, of the experienced student, so that he could shape the young man and make him feel good with himself and find his place within society. The current education system describes to younger people nothing more than the evolution of science, technique and art, starting with the first trials till our days. What is really mandatory for us is to find a way where the educational system could become again a necessity for a person and not a way to keep very many people busy, while they can be intellectually and psycho-emotionally shaped.

Background and purpose: Human resource professionalism receives considerable attention in terms of the competence of individual. In this article, we want to bridge the existing competencies of students and the perceived competencies that they assume will be developed and obtained during their studies. The purpose of our paper is a) to present competencies in general, b) to determine the meaning of the development of competencies in the field of higher education, and c) to present the role of competencies in human resource management. The aim of this paper is to examine the human resource competencies among students, and their judgments regarding the competencies they have already received during their studies. Methodology: The questionnaire was distributed to full-time students of the Faculty of Organizational Science, University of Maribor, in such a way that both genders, both undergraduate and graduate studies, and all years of study were represented. We have measured students’ opinions concerning their current and future perceptions about professional competencies in the HR field. Results: Based on the self-assessment of fifteen HR competencies, we used hierarchical clustering performed with Ward's method and standardized variables and got two clusters. A t-test was used according to low or high levels of students’ current competencies. The positive association between satisfaction with study programme and student's opinion on development of competencies during their studies was confirmed with one-tailed Pearson correlation coefficient. Conclusion: The majority of students believe that they possess significant HR competencies. They have expressed a need for further education and training in that field. The students have assessed that the study programme allows them to acquire and develop the competencies for a successful task performance of the HR professional.

The present paper deals with the problem of teaching dyslexic learners in EFL classroom. A brief discussion about the nature of the learning prob-lems of dyslexic learners is followed by a report of a survey carried out among 26 EFL teachers of different teaching experience. The question-naire addressed such issues as contacts of the EFL teachers with learners diagnosed as dyslexic, their awareness of the problems such learners en-counter while learning another language, ways of treating dyslexic learners to enhance learning and an availability of the professional advice in that matter etc. The data show that not all of the surveyed EFL teachers feel prepared to the problems emerging from teaching dyslexic learners; some of the ways they choose to overcome the problem are controversial. Many do not know related literature. However, majority of them can rely on the assistance of a school pedagogue or psychologist. Yet, the fact that less than half of the respondents had training in teaching learners with dyslexia during their professional education, whereas at the same time they all report having dyslexic learners in their class, points to the need of introducing the topic to the professional training of foreign language teachers as an obligatory component.

An important conceptual basis of the methodology in determining the content of education is competency based approach to professional development of future teachers of mathematics during their studies at physics and mathematics departments at the pedagogical university, including the study of such fundamental disciplines as mathematical analysis. Formation of mathematical competence is not possible without the involvement of modern information and communication technologies, including social services and resources of the Internet. The spread of virtual education, training and social networks creates conditions for bringing people together in user groups according to their interests or values to meet specific needs. With the popularity of the first city in Ukraine is network “VKontakte”, also popular are “Classmates” and “Mail.ru”. However, the most popular for training and development of students abroad is the social network “Facebook”. These networks have similar functionality, convenience of the educational process, namely, to accommodate class schedules, training programs and job tasks, formation of different groups to share information, communication and so on. We distinguish the following forms of using social networks as a means of teaching students: - Social networks as a platform for interaction between a teacher and a student (opportunity to ask questions), a student and a student (communication, discussions, projects), students and the entire community (the job without a specific destination); - Social networks as a space of learning management, allocation of learning tasks and students’ activities, test objectives, and monitoring; - Social networks as a place of storage (placement of the lectures and practical classes, additional teaching materials, educational and methodological literature, articles, etc.); - Social networks as a “bulletin board” (accommodation of organizational information about events within the academic and extracurricular activities).

The principal items of B.F. Egorov book are described in the article Deception in the Russian culture (2012). It is marked that the scientist considered deception on the basis of the enormous material - historical (from antiquity to the soviet epoch inclusively) and modern (from alteration to our days), attracted for com-parison facts, inherent not only to Russian but also to other national cultures (from east mythology and Homer to the modern American culture). Attention is paid to the offered by the scientists classification of deceptions, where the the-matic principle is the basis (socio-political, economical, psychological, domestic, soldiery, geographical, medical deceptions, as well as deceptions in area of reli-gion, in science, in literature and art; deceptions are specially distinguished with a sign plus), meaningfulness of research is underlined by the scientist of such covinous forms, as silences, mystifications, imitations and plagiarism, as also the actuality of problem of intercommunications of deception and game.

Aim. In Turkey, in connection with the Bologna process, German is also taught in Turkish universities as an elective course. There is an important relationship between the selection of the subject in the elective German courses, detailed planning of the courses, and the implementation of the appropriate method. In this study, the subject of professions was planned for the elective German courses. The purpose of this study is the preparation, implementation and evaluation of a sample lesson to describe the selection of the subject of professions for the German course taught as an elective course in the universities. Concept and Methods. This study was conducted by qualitative research. The document research technique was used in the study (Yıldırım & Şimşek, 2008). During the 2018/2019 academic year, I taught about the subject of profession selection in my German courses. I prepared, implemented and evaluated the subject of professions according to the lesson planning model I had previously developed (Coşkun, 2018). I prepared the materials used in this course according to this model. Result and Conclusion. The success of the lesson planning model mentioned above was also observed in the activities conducted earlier. It was also seen that the students who attended German courses in connection with the Bologna process exerted efforts in establishing contact with the instructor and the students attending the class. It was observed that the participants introduced themselves, mentioned the field or the branch in the university where they were studying, and were interested to gain experience abroad in order to be successful in their professions. In addition to the subject discussed in the class, the method implemented in the lesson and the planning of the lesson according to the method, play an important role in the continuation of this interest. Therefore, effective lesson planning models and unique methods should be developed. Origin. Students from all the departments of the university may attend the elective German language classes opened in connection with the Bologna process. The condition for participation in the courses “German for Erasmus” and “German for Communication” which I teach, is to learn German at the A1 level. It is frequently observed that the participants speak German at different levels. The overseas experience of the participants, the quality of the German and other language education they had received from primary to high school and university play an important role in this. In the recent years, the number of participants from German and other foreign language speaking countries has increased. The students who had been in German-speaking countries under the Erasmus program participate in the German courses also to maintain their fluency in the German language. In order to execute the German courses effectively for different purposes, for different fields and participants coming from different countries and students with different levels of fluency, a suitable method should be developed. It is believed that this inter-disciplinary study will contribute to the active German courses.

L2 learners may try to pick up the unknown word’s meaning from a dictionary. Many different factors, such as how important the meaning of the word is in the passage, the number of unknown words, and the reason the students are working on it, etc., affect the frequency of the student’s use of the dictionary for help. However, trying to guess the meaning of the unknown word from the context before consulting a dictionary is more beneficial since this may help the learners to pick the correct meaning relevant to the text. Using a dictionary should be limited to those unguessable words whose meanings can hinder the learner’s understanding.

Transportation problem (TP) is a special type of linear programming problem (LPP) where the objective is to minimize the cost of distributing a product from several sources (or origins) to some destinations. This paper addresses a transportation problem in which the costs, supplies, and demands are represented as heptagonal fuzzy numbers. After converting the problem into the corresponding crisp TP using the ranking method, a goal programming (GP) approach is applied for obtaining the optimal solution. The advantage of GP for the decision-maker is easy to explain and implement in real life transportation. The stability set of the first kind corresponding to the optimal solution is determined. A numerical example is given to highlight the solution approach.

The 21st century is the time of dynamic development of advanced technol-ogies as well as creating and improving equal opportunities for those who have not had them so far. The appropriate and well adjusted education of people who are mentally retarded may turn out to be one of the most im-portant ways to prepare them to live independently in their societies. In every Polish school at least one foreign language is taught and mostly it is English. Even though the idea of teaching English to mildly retarded stu-dents has always been controversial, the Ministry of Education in Poland decided to put it into practice. Consequently, since 2009 the junior high school graduation exam has included a component devoted to testing a for-eign language. These changes made it necessary to increase the effective-ness of foreign language pedagogy.

Wreszcie, z początkami istnienia Zakonu Kaznodziejskiego łączyć należy zjawisko dużej liczby powołań wykształconych prawników i kanonistów rekrutujących się przede wszystkim z Uniwersytetu Bolońskiego. Wydaje się, iż wstępując do zakonu dzielili się oni swoją wiedzą ze współbraćmi. Także i w tym nieformalnym procesie nauczania prawa można poszukiwać źródeł prawniczej wiedzy Akwinaty.

In this article author is attempting to show the context and the sources of the legal knowledge acquired by Saint Thomas Aquinas. It is certain that Thomas had not studied law, but it is obvious as well that he used the sources of Roman and Canon law frequently in his own studies. The author believes that the Aquinas’s knowledge of law is natural consequence of three circumstance. First of all, Saint Thomas’s life occurred in the so-called “epoch of the law”. Secondly, he was a member of the Dominican Order which always emphasised the need of study which help the friars to preach more accurately Word of God. Finally, in the times of Thomas Aquinas many friars entered the Order as a professional lawyers and canonists who by no means shared their knowledge of law with brothers.
