The article presents the phenomenon in which the dialectal suffix -icha/-ycha is used to create feminine variants of surnames of women involved in politics. The subject of the analysis includes the surnames of women politicians (e.g. Kopaczycha < Kopacz), as well as the surnames of wives and daughters of famous politicians (e.g. Pawlaczycha < Pawlak). Such dialectal anthroponyms not only perform an identification function, but they are also used to fulfil various communication objectives. The material which is analysed in this article comes from the utterances of Internet users posted on various forums.

Przedmiotem artykułu jest zjawisko występowania w polszczyźnie potocznej nowego typu formacji słowotwórczych, utworzonych z wykorzystaniem sufiksu -icha/-ycha, np. bystrzycha, teścicha, wronicha. Licznych przykładów takich formacji dostarcza język Internetu. Materiał, będący podstawą analizy, stanowi ponad 180 derywatów reprezentujących kilka kategorii słowotwórczych, m.in. nazwy ekspresywne i augmentatywne, nazwy nosicieli cech, nazwy żeńskie. Obecność formacji z tym przyrostkiem w języku potocznym może być rezultatem oddziaływania gwar ludowych.

The topic of the article is the occurrence of a new type of word formations with the –icha/-ycha suffix, e.g. bystrzycha, teścicha, wronicha in the Polish colloquial language . Numerous examples of such formations may be found in language on the Internet. The analysis was carried out on the basis of more than 180 derivatives representing several word-forming categories, among others expressive and augmentative names, attributive names and feminine names. The presence of a formation with this suffix in colloquial language may be the result of the influence of Polish local dialects.
