W wielu badaniach wykazano, że aktywność jednostek zależy m.in. od takich konstruktów jak poczucie własnej skuteczności, samoocena, motywacja, wyuczona bezradność czy relacje z otoczeniem. Te z kolei pozostają w ścisłym związku z ulokowaniem poczucia kontroli. Ponieważ kształtuje się ono pod wpływem doświadczeń, istotne w tym procesie są przeszłe zdarzenia, w przypadku ucznia należy więc zwrócić szczególną uwagę na zdarzenia szkolne. Jako że brakuje narzędzia, które pedagodzy mogliby stosować do badania i diagnozy poczucia umiejscowienia kontroli zdarzeń szkolnych u uczniów, podjęto próbę skonstruowania go. Próbę badawczą stanowiło 449 uczniów drugich klas bydgoskich szkół ponadgimnazjalnych. Rzetelność narzędzia weryfikowano współczynnikiem zgodności wewnętrznej oraz metodą połówkową, a trafność, badając związek z wybranymi zmiennymi. Narzędzie można uznać za trafne. W zakresie skali porażek uzyskało zadowalającą rzetelność, natomiast skala sukcesów wymaga dopracowania.

In many studies it has been shown that the activity of individuals depends on such constructs as self-efficacy, self-esteem, motivation, learned helplessness, or relationships with the environment. These, in turn, are closely related to the placement of a sense of control. Because it is shaped by experience, past events are important in this process, so in the case of a student, special attention should be paid to school situations. As there is a lack of tools that pedagogues could use to study and diagnose the sense of the locus of control of students, an attempt was made to construct one. The research sample consisted of 449 students of the second grade of upper secondary schools in Bydgoszcz. The reliability of the tool was verified by the internal consistency and the split-half coefficient, and accuracy by examining the relationship with the selected variables. The tool can be considered accurate. In terms of the scale of failures, it has achieved satisfactory reliability, while the scale of successes needs to be refined.

Beside the family, school is the environment which affects a child for many years and has a significant impact on the process of his development, education, upbringing and socialization. At the moment of starting the educational process, a child must adapt to a new situation and face a new social role – as a pupil. Performing this role may be problematic for every child, but students with special educational needs may experience special difficulties in this area. One of the elements of the school situation is the emotional and social relations of students with their peers from the school class. The main aim of this article to is to present the results of the author` s research on functioning of pupils with special educational needs (SEN) from grades 1-3 of a primary school as a peer and comparison of the results with the findings of other Polish and Czech scholars.

Szkoła, obok rodziny, jest środowiskiem, które przez wiele lat oddziałuje na dziecko wywierając znaczący wpływ na proces jego rozwoju, kształcenia, wychowania oraz socjalizacji. Z chwilą podjęcia nauki w szkole dziecko musi przystosować się do nowej sytuacji jaką jest sytuacja szkolna oraz zmierzyć się z nową rolą społeczną – rolą ucznia. Pełnienie tej roli może być problematyczne dla każdego dziecka, jednak szczególnych trudności w tym zakresie mogą doświadczać uczniowie ze specjalnymi potrzebami edukacyjnymi. Jednym z elementów sytuacji szkolnej są relacje emocjonalno-społeczne uczniów z rówieśnikami z klasy szkolnej. Celem tego opracowania jest zaprezentowanie wyników badań własnych dotyczących funkcjonowania w roli kolegi uczniów ze specjalnymi potrzebami edukacyjnymi z klas I-III szkoły podstawowej oraz porównanie ich z diagnozami innych badaczy polskich i czeskich.
