Celem rozważań jest przedstawienie studium przypadku berlińskiego Bloku 6 położonego w dzielnicy Kreuzberg, który ukazuje 30-letnią tradycję zrównoważonej gospodarki wodnej. Zaprojektowany w 1987 roku w ramach Międzynarodowej Wystawy Budownictwa, Blok 6 stał się przykładem ekologicznych rozwiązań technologicznych dla budownictwa mieszkaniowego. Niniejszy artykuł opartona autorskich badaniach terenowych prowadzonych w 2014 roku w ramach projektu „Zmień szare na zielone” oraz w 2015 roku w ramach grantu badawczego NCBR „Biostrateg” ID 270606, a także na podstawie analizy wykładu i materiałów źródłowych autorstwa Dipl.-Ing. Erwina Nolde. Wnioski dotyczące prezentowanych rozwiązań pokazują, gdzie należy upatrywać zagrożeń i na jakie uwarunkowania należy zwrócić szczególną uwagę, aby taki projekt mógł odnieść sukces. Technologie sprawdzone w Bloku 6 mogą być powszechnie wykorzystywane, bowiem współtworzą przyjazne i zrownoważone środowiska życia mieszkańców.

An aim of considerations is to present the case study of the Berlin Block 6 located in the Kreuzberg District, which shows the 30-year tradition of sustainable water management. Originally developed in 1987 as a project of the International Building Exhibition, the Block 6 has become an example of ecological technological concepts for house-building. The article is based on the authoring field studies carried out in 2014 within the framework of the project named “Change grey into green” and in 2015 within the framework of the research grant of NCBR “Biostrateg” ID 270606, as well as based on an analysis of the lecture and sources materials whose author is Dipl.-Ing. Erwin Nolde. The conclusions concerning the presented solutions show where one should track threats and what determinants should be specifically considered that such a project might be a success. The technologies proven in Block 6 may be commonly exploited as they contribute to the creation of friendly and sustainable environments of live of dwellers.
