Artykuł przedstawia fragment badań, diagnostyczno-korelacyjnych o charakterze ilościowo-jakościowym, ustalających kompetencje informacyjne nauczycieli w zakresie wykorzystywania metod i narzędzi ICT w kontekście nowych trendów technologicznych i towarzyszącym im przemianom cywilizacyjnym. Rozważane zagadnienia poszukują odpowiedzi na pytanie określające powody, dla których nauczyciele w swojej praktyce zawodowej nie wykorzystują narzędzi ICT. Podkreśla uwarunkowania konstruujące okoliczności, w których nauczyciele nie podejmują działań na rzecz stosowania ICT w procesie dydaktyczno-wychowawczym.

The article presents a fragment of the results of diagnostic-correlative research of quantitative/qualitative character, related to information competence of teachers in the area of application of ICT methods and tools in the context of new trends in technology and the accompanying civilizational transformations. Considered issues seeking answers to the question of determining the reasons for which teachers in their professional practice do not use ICT tools. It highlights the conditions constructing the circumstances in which teachers do not take action to promote the application of ICT in the teaching and upbringing process.
