This article reflects on technical and technological progress in light of society aging and on its impact on the society and economy, as well as on the states’ socio-economic development from the perspective of social science. The author also discusses the complex effects of population aging and describes the last stage of human life. The elderly face numerous limitations (especially health problems) and modern technology can provide appropriate solutions. Gerontechnology is the answer of modern science to the needs of the social class in question. The article provides examples of enhancing the quality and comfort of elderly people’s lives with the use of innovative products and services.

An important part of the article is a brief description and use of selected methods of activation Technology in teaching the subject at primary school. The focus of interest was further empirical educational research, which also includes implementation of the teaching experiment and statistical analysis of the results in order to practically verify the successful use of selected methods of activation in real terms of primary school.

Celem artykułu jest zaprezentowanie strategii i taktyk negocjacyjnych, sprzężonych z profilem negocjatora oraz uwarunkowaniami negocjacyjnymi. W ramach pojedynczej taktyki negocjacyjnej można realizować wiele technik. Negocjator, mając na uwadze etap rozmów, może wykorzystać właściwą technikę/techniki czy też taktykę/taktyki, których celem jest możliwie jak najdalej idące osiągnięcie założonego rezultatu negocjacyjnego, zgodnego z oczekiwaniami organizacji. W literaturze przedmiotu dostępne są informacje z zakresu stosowanych technik i taktyk negocjacyjnych, nie mniej jednak opisane są one najczęściej w odniesieniu do pojedynczego przypadku. W niniejszej pracy opisano i porównano poszczególne rodzaje technik i strategii negocjacyjnych, z jednoczesnym wskazaniem obszarów i sytuacji, w których mogą być wykorzystane na różnych etapach procesu negocjacyjnego.

The main aim of this article is presenting strategies and negotiations tactics, tasks relate to them accordingly. Strategies and tactics are coupled with profile of negotiator and negotiating circumstances. As part of a single negotiation tactics many techniques can be implemented. Negotiator may use the right technique or tactics which aim at outcome as close as possible to the assumed goal. Source literature offers information about this field, however, the material is most often described in terms of an individual case. In this paper the author elaborates on and compares different types of techniques and negotiation strategies and suggests the areas and situations in which they may be used at different stages of the negotiation process. The best technic or tactic can be useful for a negotiator and helps him to achieve an object requested.

The main goal of the article is to look at the most important theses of Marcuse’s philosophy in order to identify their actuality or nonactuality. The theses in question are those which say that we are living in the totally administrated world, where one-dimensional man has been created by industrial capitalism, culture has affirmative character as for the status quo, people work too much, technics and technology are important elements of the politics, the most important economic power are not transparent for the society and the classical subject of political change – working class is not able to cause political change any longer, which is why there is need to seek for a new such subject. I try to defend a stand according to which Marcuse’s theses are still actual and valid if only one takes into account today’s phenomena in economics, politics and social life.

W tekście podjęto namysł nad aktualnością szeregu tez filozofii Herberta Marcusego. Chodzi m.in. o tezę dotyczącą istnienia „totalnie administrowanego świata”, anonimowości dominujących sił ekonomicznych, wpływie techniki i technologii na politykę, narodzinach „człowieka jednowymiarowego”, istnienia „kultury afirmatywnej”, zbędności i szkodliwości pracy ponad ludzkie siły, a także trudności ze zidentyfikowaniem podmiotu ewentualnej zmiany społecznej. Autor powołując się na szereg dzisiejszych zjawisk z zakresu ekonomii, polityki i życia społecznego wskazuje na to, że tezy te zachowują swoja aktualność, choć uzasadnienie ich trafności musi odwoływać się do innych faktów społecznych niż te, o których wspominał sam Marcuse.

Im Aufsatz wird der Gedanke von Lewis Mumford und seine Wahrnehmung der technischen Kultur rekonstruiert, die in den Werken Technik und Zivilisation und Der Mythos der Maschine enthalten sind. Es wird gezeigt, dass die von den Forschern seiner Ideen unterschiedenen Phasen viele gemeinsame Momente aufweisen, die mit der kritischen Auffassung des Einflusses der Technik und der Wissenschaft auf Menschenleben verbunden sind.

Reviewed are Lewis Mumford's ideas and the perception of technical culture as outlined in his Technics and Civilization and The Myth of the Machine. The purpose of this review is to take note of the common points in Mumford’s critical notion evolving over the years regarding the impact of technique and science on man’s life as singled out by scholars of his works.

W artykule dokonuję rekonstrukcji myśli Lewisa Mumforda i jego postrzegania kultury technicznej, zawartych w dziełach Technika a cywilizacja oraz Mit maszyny. Tom 2. Pentagon władzy. Badacze zajmujący się myślą Mumforda dzielą jego krytyczne podejście do kultury technicznej na dwie fazy, która to myślą zawarta jest we wspomnianych pracach. Sądzę jednak, że fazy które są wyodrębniane posiadają tak naprawdę wiele wspólnych momentów, przez co twardy podział proponowany przez Carla Mitchama czy Thomasa Hughesa może budzić pewne wątpliwości.

Wychodząc od kilku kluczowych fragmentów Ewangelii o Ostatniej Wieczerzy i Ukrzyżowaniu, autor stara się pokazać w jaki sposób językowa maszyneria tekstu ujawnia swój aspekt dekonstrukcyjny – z jednej strony nawołując do zawłaszczenia kulturowego, a przeciwstawiając się temu zawłaszczeniu z drugiej. Ta ambiwalencja przekłada się także na poziom egzystencjalny, odzwierciedlając napięcie pomiędzy życiem jako idiomatycznym aspektem każdego ludzkiego przedsięwzięcia a kulturą rozumianą jako czynnik poddający jednostki wspólnemu doświadczeniu. Głównym impulsem u podłoża koncepcji eseju jest sprzeciw wobec utrzymywania ostrego rozróżnienia między życiem -- kwestionującym możliwość adekwatnej reprezentacji -- a egzystencją i wszystkimi mechanizmami reprodukcyjnymi, jakie ze sobą niesie. Analiza ta, odnosząc się do obszernego korpusu tekstów Derridy, wykracza poza metakomentarz ograniczony do filozofii francuskiej czy literaturoznawstwa i można ją odczytać także jako przyczynek do teologicznej interpretacji Ewangelii, dokonywanej za pomocą logiki dekonstrukcyjnej.

Taking as a starting point a few key passages in the Gospels about the Last Supper and Crucifixion, the author tries to show how the linguistic machinery of a text reveals its deconstructive aspect – making a call for cultural appropriation on the one hand and resisting this appropriation on the other. This duplicity is also projected onto an existential level, reflecting the tension between life as an idiomatic aspect of every human endeavor and culture understood as subjecting to shared experience. The main conceptual impetus of the essay goes against maintaining the sharp distinction between life rejecting an accurate representation and existence with all the reproduction devices it carries with itself. This analysis, referring to a vast corpus of Derrida’s texts, goes beyond a metacommentary limited to French philosophy or literary studies and can also be read as a contribution to a theological interpretation of the Gospels made with the help of deconstructive logic.
