The article is bringing up the issue of appearing of medical and health issues on television. Publications in the media, peculiarly audio-visual effectivenesses of the prevention and the health awareness cause the height, but also observed there are more behaviours extremely dangerous, associated with the cosmetic surgery or medical experiments. Television has the strongest impact still to the recipient, and for her abilities of presenting medical and health issues are very extensive, from series, of the documentary or the specialist magazine for entertainment.

Artykuł porusza zagadnienie występowania problematyki medycznej i zdrowotnej w telewizji. Dzięki publikacjom w mediach, szczególnie audiowizualnych, wzrasta skuteczność profilaktyki i świadomości zdrowotnej, ale również obserwowanych jest coraz więcej zachowań skrajnie niebezpiecznych, związanych z medycyną estetyczną czy medycznymi eksperymentami. Telewizja ma nadal silny wpływ na odbiorcę, a jej możliwości prezentowania problematyki medycznej i zdrowotnej są bardzo szerokie, od serialu, filmu dokumentalnego czy magazynu specjalistycznego po formy rozrywkowe.
