Fluencja słowna w zakresie wybranych kategorii nazw własnych i pospolitych w przebiegu otępienia w chorobie Alzheimera

The article concerns verbal fluency in dementia in the course of Alzheimer’s disease. The test described allows one to detect dysfunctions within linguistic processes, semantic memory or dysfunction of executive functions already present in the early stages of the disease, when no attention is paid to the dysfunction of language functions. The article compares the results of verbal fluency tests in selected categories of proper nouns and common nouns, and determines the effect of the Alzheimer’s disease stage on the test result. Comparison of the test group results with various degrees of dementia indicates a progressive decrease in verbal fluency, adequately to the degree of dementia, regardless of the type of task. The experiment shows different profiles of verbal tasks in terms of common nouns and proper nouns.

Przedmiotem niniejszych rozważań uczyniono badanie fluencji słownej u osób ze zdiagnozowanym otępieniem w przebiegu choroby Alzheimera w różnych jego stadiach (otępienie lekkie, średnie i głębokie). Badanie wykonano przy użyciu testu fluencji słownej. Na podstawie wyników testu można wnioskować m.in. o jakości procesów językowych, stanie pamięci semantycznej czy stanie funkcji wykonawczych. W artykule przeprowadzono porównanie fluencji słownej w zakresie wybranych nazw pospolitych i nazw własnych. Porównanie wskazuje na stopniowy spadek płynności werbalnej, adekwatnie do stopnia demencji, a także różne profile wykonań zadań w zależności od kategorii rzeczowników. Autorka podjęła także próbę wyjaśnienia przyczyn spadku fluencji słownej w kolejnych stadiach choroby Alzheimera.
