Znaczenie wolontariatu w opiniach studentów pedagogiki

celem artykułu jest poznanie i zaprezentowanie znaczenia uczestnictwa w wolontariacie w opinii badanych studentów-wolontariuszy. Materiał i metody: przeprowadzone badanie składało się z dwóch etapów. W pierwszym etapie badań zastosowana została metoda sondażu diagnostycznego, technika-ankieta. W tej części badań wzięło udział 76 studentów-wolontariuszy kierunku pedagogika Uniwersytetu Zielonogórskiego. W drugiej części badań, opartych na metodzie analizy indywidualnych przypadków, wykorzystany został wywiad narracyjny, w którym wzięło udział 12 osób. Wyniki: opierając się na wyrażonej przez respondentów opinii na temat znaczenia, jakie przypisują analizowanej formie aktywności, autorka wyróżniła cztery kategorie znaczeniowe wolontariatu: 1. wolontariat jako naturalny aspekt funkcjonowania społecznego; 2. wolontariat jako droga do rozwoju własnej osoby; 3. wolontariat jako forma przezwyciężania trudnych doświadczeń życiowych; 4. wolontariat jako sposób na odnalezienie drogi zawodowej.

The aim of this paper is to identify, classify and present the importance of volunteering in the opinion of student volunteers. Materials and methods: The study consisted of two stages. In the first one a diagnostic poll with the use of a survey was carried out. 76 pedagogy student volunteers studying at the University of Zielona Góra took part in this stage. The second stage was based on case studies consisting of narrative interviews, this stage was completed by 12 students. Results: Four classes of importance of volunteering assigned by students have been identified in the study: 1. volunteering as a natural aspect of social interaction; 2. volunteering as a path to selfimprovement; 3. volunteering as a way to overcome difficult life experiences; 4. volunteering as a way to find a future career path.
