Madres solteras adolescentes como una posible determinante de precariedad laboral

La presente investigación tiene como objetivo principal analizar cómo la condición de ser madre soltera adolescente pudiera determinar el tipo de incorporación de éstas al mercado de trabajo y las condiciones laborales respectivas. La forma para abordar el objetivo que nos planteamos fue a través de un estudio de caso de madres solteras adolescentes que se dedicaron a la venta de alimentos en el Mercado de Tepito. Los resultados obtenidos contradicen las tesis que asocian al sector informal con precariedad laboral y nos llevan a reflexionar que el concepto de precariedad rebasa la escisión entre el sector formal e informal.

The present research has as main purpose is to analyze how the condition of being unwed teenage mother could identify the type of incorporation of these to the labor market and the respective labor conditions. The way to address the objective we set ourselves was through a case study of single teenage mothers that were devoted to the sale of food in the Mercado de Tepito. The results contradict the thesis which associate with the informal sector with precarious employment and lead us to think that the concept of precariousness exceeds the rift between the formal and informal sector.

Artykuł zawiera przegląd sytuacji opiekunów nieformalnych i rodzinnych w systemach opieki długoterminowej w krajach Unii Europejskiej. W pierwszej części została przedstawiona w optyce wielosektorowości rola, jaką odgrywać może rodzina w polityce społecznej, zwłaszcza w obszarze opieki długoterminowej nad osobami niesamodzielnymi. W drugiej części omówiono stosunek społeczeństw europejskich do roli rodziny w obliczu konieczności zapewnienia opieki długoterminowej nad niesamodzielnymi seniorami. Następnie została przedstawiona skala zaangażowania w opiekę długoterminową nad bliskimi w krajach Unii Europejskiej. W czwartej części pokazano, jak wygląda system wsparcia opiekunów rodzinnych i/lub nieformalnych w poszczególnych systemach krajowych w Unii Europejskiej, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem perspektywy godzenia pracy z opieką długoterminową. Całość wieńczą wnioski.

The article provides an overview of informal and family caregivers (carers) in the national long-term care systems within the European Union. In the first part, there is shown – based on a multi-sectoral social policy concept – the role of family and the informal sector in social policy, in particular in long-term care. In the second part, examined is the attitude of European societies to the role of the family in the provision of long-term care and support for infi rm elderly people. In the next part is information about the level of engagement of informal and family carers in long-term care and elderly care in European countries. Next, in a comparative perspective illustrated is the variety of national long-term systems, especially concerning work-family balance measures. Finally, there are some conclusions drawn and pointers for Polish public policy.
