The article focuses on the analysis of the physicians attitude to their work. The whole analysis is divided into three parts. The first, theoretical, contains a description of the factors affecting the attitude of professional doctors and outline of substantive reasons for own research. The second part is devoted to the present­tion of the research methodology, while the third contains a discussion and conclusions of own research, based on the quantitative and qualitative nature, conducted among physicians from Zagłębie Dąbrowskie in 2012. The article answered the research questions relating to the way in which doctors define their professional role and attitude towards their work. By analyzing the collected material, the author concludes that a huge role in shaping the attitudes of professional doctors fulfill such factors as: job satisfaction, stress, conditions and workplace, the relationship with the jobs environment

Artykuł koncentruje się na analizie postaw lekarzy wobec pracy. Na początku przedstawiono charakterystykę czy­ników wpływających na postawy zawodowe lekarzy oraz zarys merytorycznych podstaw badań wła­nych. Dalej zaprezentowano metodologię badawczej, a następnie omówienie i wnioski wynikające z badań własnych o ilościowym i jakościowym charakterze przeprowadzonych wśród lekarzy Zagłębia Dąbrowskiego w 2012 r. W artykule odpowiedziano na pytania badawcze odnoszące się do sposobu, w jaki lekarze definiują swoją rolę zawodową oraz postawy wobec wykonywanej pracy. Analizując zebrany materiał, autorka dochodzi do wniosku, iż ogromną rolę w kształtowaniu postaw zawodowych
