In the paper Sources for the History of Polish language in the collections of Jasna Gora, contains basic information about the historic meeting of the Polish language at the Jasna Gora, the location of Polish voice and short notes in Latin codes and their phonetics and vocabulary. In Latin codes of the first decades of the fifteenth century, which prescribed the scriptorium Polish Jasna Gora recorded marginal glosses, such as gloss, “blogoslawcu (a)” (manuscript II-18). The manuscripts of Jasna Gora also the oldest recorded religious songs: Mother of God (Manuscriptus liber) (end of XV - the beginning of the XVI century), Marian songs: Maria pure virgin (ms II-18a). In the sermons, we also formula preaching: daily prayer, the seven deadly sins, the Decalogue (ms II-37), a universal confession that begins with the words: “We are sinful people...” (ms II-32). In the manuscripts we find a variety of Polish writings in the form of fleeting kolofon (for example ms II-5). The codes also several pages written texts (XVI -XVII century) (for example ms I-7). Jasna Gora was in past centuries not only the center of Marian devotion and pilgrimage, but also to measure the local environment and local needs, the center of literary culture, books and popularize use of Polish language.
