W opracowaniu przedstawiono zarys zasadniczych zadań czasopism o charakterze regionalistycznym, które ukazywały się w Wielkopolsce w okresie zaboru pruskiego. Do kręgu tych obowiązków periodyków regionalistycznych zaliczono zadania w dziedzinie oświaty i wychowania narodowego oraz pielęgnowania języka polskiego i oświaty ludu, a także podtrzymywania ducha narodowego oraz idei jednej Polski i solidarności narodowej.

The study outlines the essential tasks of periodicals about the regionalistic character, which appeared in Wielkopolska region during the Prussian annexation. Those duties of the regionalistic periodicals included tasks in the field of education and national education and cultivate the Polish language and education of the people, as well as the support of the national spirit and the idea of one Polish and national solidarity.
