Announcing in the German Church the so called synodal way provoked discussions concerning the participation and joint responsibility of all the faithful in the implementation of the Church mission, especially with regard to exercising power and making binding decisions. The aim of the presented reflections (comments) is to look at the discussion in the light of the theory of participation, analysed by Karol Wojtyła in his work The Acting Person. The co-existence of the community of action and the personal value of the act and experiencing as one`s own jointly made decisions may set the direction for new paradigms of exploring sensus fidei.

The subject of the analysis undertaken in this article is the theory of the participation developed on the ground of philosophical inquiry. This is, in particular, the theory of Karol Wojtyła. This author, inscribing into the personalists perspective of the inspection of reality, integrates the person and the act as the foundation of the theory. Inspirations for the practice of social work emerging from the analysis constitute (in the intention of this article) an impulse for the further independent reflection on the factors conditioning processes of social participation and cooperation in the processing of everyday life of people, families, social groups, local communities and entire societies. The ontological factorial analysis tool used here can be applied in similar publishing projects. A measurable effect of this activity may be drawing new fields of interest combining theory and practice, humanities with social sciences, medical, technical, etc. In the area of social work, which carries the hallmarks of a practical discipline, it is necessary to transgress the traditional border sharing individual sciences and outdistancing the theoretical, research or methodical achievements achieved on their basis. Integrity and holism are necessary for a more comprehensive view of the reality, in which actions are taken to reconstruct the conditions of human life in the present time and the future.

Przedmiotem analizy podjętej w niniejszym artykule jest teoria uczestnictwa opracowana na gruncie dociekań filozoficznych. Jest to w szczególności teoria Karola Wojtyły. Autor ten, wpisując się w personalistyczną perspektywę oglądu rzeczywistości, integruje osobę i czyn jako fundament przedmiotowej teorii. Inspiracje dla praktyki pracy socjalnej wyłaniające się z toku analizy stanowią (w zamierzeniu tego artykułu) impuls do dalszej, samodzielnej refleksji o czynnikach warunkujących procesy uczestnictwa społecznego i współdziałania w przetwarzaniu rzeczywistości życia codziennego osób, rodzin, grup społecznych, społeczności lokalnych i całych społeczeństw. Zastosowane tu narzędzie ontologicznej analizy czynnikowej może być stosowane w podobnych projektach wydawniczych. Wymiernym efektem tego działania może być kreślenie nowych pól zainteresowania łączącego teorię z praktyką, nauki humanistyczne z naukami społecznymi, medycznymi, technicznymi itp. W obszarze pracy socjalnej, która nosi znamiona dyscypliny praktycznej, konieczne jest przekraczanie tradycyjnych granic dzielących poszczególne nauki i dystansujących osiągany na ich gruncie dorobek teoretyczny, badawczy czy metodyczny. Integralność i holizm są bowiem konieczne dla pełniejszego oglądu rzeczywistości, w której podejmowane są działania na rzecz przebudowy warunków życia ludzkiego w teraźniejszości i przyszłości.
