W artykule przedstawiona została działalność Towarzystwa Kredytowego miasta Radomia w latach 1898-1915, które było jednym z dwunastu towarzystw kredytowych miejskich, funkcjonujących w Królestwie Polskim. Stanowi ono tym samym reprezentatywny przykład formy instytucjonalnej miejskiego kredytu hipotecznego. Prezentacja Towarzystwa została przeprowadzona z uwzględnieniem aktualnego stanu badań nad miejskim kredytem hipotecznym w Królestwie Polskim, co pozwoliło stwierdzić, że działalność Towarzystwa Kredytowego miasta Radomia nie doczekała się dotąd żadnego opracowania. Autorka omówiła w artykule prawne mechanizmy funkcjonowania Towarzystwa, a zakres prowadzonej działalności kredytowej ukazany został na tle sytuacji gospodarczej Radomia i guberni radomskiej, z uwzględnieniem rezultatów osiąganych przez pozostałe Towarzystwa Kredytowe Miejskie w Królestwie Polskim. W ten sposób, artykuł stanowi uzupełnienie badań nad miejskim kredytem hipotecznym w Królestwie Polskim, wzbogacając je o Radomskie Towarzystwo Kredytowe.

The article presents the activity of the Credit Society of the City of Radom in the years 1898-1915. This Credit Society was one of twelve such societies that functioned in the Kingdom of Poland. It is a representative example of the institutional form of the municipal mortgage. The presentation of this Credit Society was prepared taking into account the current research into municipal mortgage in the Kingdom of Poland. It lead to the conclusion that the activity of the Credit Society of the City of Radom has not been scrutinized yet. The author discussed in her article the legal mechanisms of the performance of this Society and presented the range of carried lending activities against a background of the economic situation in the Kingdom of Poland, especially in Radom and Radom governorate, taking into consideration the results achieved by other Credit Societies in the Kingdom of Poland. Thus, the article is the addendum to the research into municipal mortgage in the Kingdom of Poland, enriching its content with the information about the Credit Society of the City of Radom.
