Celem opracowania jest próba prezentacji zasobów kultury i tradycji ludowej gminy Nowa Słupia jako istotnego elementu atrakcyjności turystycznej regionu. Realizacja celu pracy objęła charakterystykę walorów turystycznych, ocenę stanu zagospodarowania turystycznego oraz analizę ruchu turystycznego w oparciu o dane ze statystyki masowej. Z badań wynika, że odziedziczone zasoby kultury i tradycji ludowej są kultywowanie na terenie gminy Nowa Słupia. Ich obecność budzi duże zainteresowanie wśród odwiedzających rejon gości, a także odpowiada za wysoki stopień nasycenia obszaru walorami turystycznymi. Charakter owych obszarów stanowią główne elementy, które warunkują atrakcyjność turystyczną regionu.

The aim of this paper is an attempt to present the cultural and folk traditions of the Nowa Słupia community as an important element of the tourist attractiveness of the region. Realization of the purpose of the work covered the characteristics of tourist values, the assessment of the state of tourism development and the analysis of tourism based on data from mass statistics. The research shows that the inherited resources of culture and folk tradition are cultivating in Nowa Słupia commune. Their presence raises a lot of interest among visitor visitors, as well as the high degree of tourist area’s saturation and their character are the main elements that determine the attractiveness of the region’s tourism.
