The aim of the article is to present the basic idea of academic tutoring. This method allows for personalized and in-depth use of experience – based and taught teaching tools by developed in modern humanities in academic teaching.
Artykuł przedstawia ideę tutoringu możliwą do zastosowania w odniesieniu do kształcenia akademickiego.

The paper presents the results of survey research on young people’s psychosocial needs conducted among junior high school students in Lower Silesia. Based on the relevant literature, the author starts from the assumption that the development and spread of modern technologies contribute to suppressing or reducing young people’s need for interpersonal contact. The discussed outcomes, however, do not corroborate the assumption. The second part of the article reflects on the implications the cited results have for education and advocates tutoring-an individualised learning and teaching method-as a viable solution for the Polish schooling system.

With a specific focus on tutoring among future teachers this article proposes a model of self-regulated learning. The focus on different mechanisms inherent to the tutoring relationship will consider Affective impacts or motivation, Reflexive or metacognitive and Cognitive resolutions. The ARC combination proposes that personal skills will be gained and beneficial transfers into the class will be possible. This approach with a model considers explicit learning as a part of tutoring relationship successes. A prospective study on a short scale provides a few indicators in this direction and will be followed by a mentoring study. As private companies also present services in the shadow of the official educational system some recommendations will illustrate the tutoring original pedagogical relation with specific limits and the potential for new understanding.
Standards of teaching philosophy should not differ from standards accepted in teaching other subjects of general education in secondary school. It means that innovative teaching methods should also be used for the work with a learner in didactics of philosophy. Tutoring is one of the most important methods of teaching philosophy. It has also been used in the past during teaching philosophy in Poland. Presently, the most popular form is online tutoring. The article refers to the theory of multilevel education and discusses the assumptions of general teaching and learning based on a master–student relation. In addition, the article points to modern information technologies which provide us with new online educational tools and methods.
Tutorzy najczęściej prezentowali stadium refleksyjne, a tutees stadium quasi-refleksyjne.
It is one of the oldest and most effective methods of working with a student – a method which builds upon the growing relationship between the teacher and the student, often called the master‒student method or simply tutoring – and yet, it is still not common in Polish universities. One may say that from the view of the general public this method is considered elitist, because for various reasons it has been understood that only a small group of selected students can be taught this way, and only a few can use this method. Hence, in order to make certain how it is actually understood, a survey was prepared and presented to two groups of people: a group of students and graduates of the College of Interdisciplinary Studies, University of Wrocław, and a group of 125 employees of the University of Wrocław who worked as tutors in the past. It remains to be hoped that tutoring will be introduced into the education system in Poland not only in higher education – as has already begun to happen – but also on a larger scale in secondary and primary education. Regardless of how tutoring is actually perceived fortunately it is becoming an increasingly popular teaching method in Poland.
Problematyka referatu dotyczy prób implementacji idei tutoringu w polskim systemie nauczania. Okres wdrażania tutoringu i przystosowania go do specyfiki pracy w polskiej szkole zaowocował wypracowaniem jego nowych form, uwzględniających rodzime uwarunkowania kulturowo-obyczajowe.

The paper focuses on attempts of implementing tutoring in the Polish education system. Tutoring as a new form of work with the student, based mainly on a symmetrical relationship between the teacher and the student, has a short record of existence in the Polish education system at the level of secondary education. Tutoring is generally seen as the idea of an alternative to traditional methods of working with students, becoming an opportunity for mutual understanding of intellectual and emotional needs of the student and the teacher. Tutoring is also a method that differs significantly from the one which is used successfully in English universities. The period of implementation of tutoring and adapting it to the specific context in Polish schools, resulted in the elaboration of the new forms, taking into account the conditions of indigenous cultural and moral factors. This innovative form of work dating back to the roots of classical model of Master-disciple relationship often faces significant barriers, especially in the nature of the system. The aim of the article is not only to identify the roots of this interesting and effective teaching methods, but present the possibilities of its implementation in the Polish education system. The author not only shows the advantages, but also highlights its shortcomings, noting the cultural and system differences between the Anglo-Saxon countries (where tutoring comes from) and a Polish model of education. In addition, the author presents the problem of the specificity of the Polish experience in the implementation of this method, its progress, innovation and positive effects of work.
Materiał i metody.

Introduction. The aim of the article is a family tutoring analysis as part of the school culture. The conclusions come from the ongoing two-year study of the female primary school culture, which implements a personalised education model. Material and methods. The case study is based on qualitative and complementary quantitative research methods. The research questions concerned the place of tutoring in the school culture, its perception and evaluation from the perspective of students, teachers and parents. Results. The perception and evaluation of tutoring by the examined three school community groups are largely consistent. They show that differences are primarily related to the number of the most visible school artefacts. The results identified for each aspect of culture show much coherence - material elements/goods are the result of axiological and normative assumptions held of the institution. Conclusions. Tutoring occupies a significant place in the tested institution, both at the level of the assumptions and procedures, as well as daily practice. Success in tutoring depends on an individual’s involvement and awareness, with the procedures used having a smaller impact.
By analyzing the literature, its own research on presence of the tutoring, as well as coaching and mentoring in polish schools the author of this paper want to explain the differences between these methods. Similarity of these strange-sounding notions seems to form a confusion (chaos), which can have negative consequences in the native educational system. A confusion, that is largely follows from noticeable saturation/supersaturation the presence of these methods in recent years. The following presentation is therefore intended to make a description of these different forms of individual work and also attempt to identify which of them and in what areas of school practice are worth of use. This paper is also a contribution to further discussion and future research.

Looking at children’s learning as knowledge constructing reveals the nature of educational processes. The transfer of attention from the final learning outcomes to the process itself and its internal structure helps to understand how problem-solving is constructed with the participation of peers or adults (tutoring, peer cooperation). Discovering what and how it supports children’s actions enables individualised design of educational situations and monitoring of their progress. The starting point for the conceptualisation presented in the article are classical works on children’s learning and problem-solving.

In the period between 2016 and 2018 throughout 79 educational institutions in Poland there was implemented a project called „Wychować człowieka mądrego. Wprowadzenie modelu pracy wychowawczej i resocjalizacyjnej z zastosowaniem metody tutoringu szkolnego jako profilaktyki pozytywnej problemów w polskiej szkole” [“To raise a smart man. Introduction of educational and resocialisation work model with the use of school tutoring as a positive prevention of problems at a Polish school”]. The added value of the actions taken was the opportunity to make an in-depth insight into the situation of Polish school in the view of the educational system reform that was underway at that time. The changes undertaken by the Polish Ministry of National Education were associated with the liquidation of middle school stage, and thus extending the education in primary school stage by two years. This situation turned out to be a multidimensional challenge for educational institutions, but above all for the students themselves, who have discovered a new set of educational procedures, not at the beginning of their education, but in its advanced point. This paper draws attention to this specific moment, focusing on what life positions the seventh graders were characterised by at that time, and therefore what was their attitude to themselves and the world around them. The considerations made in this paper are based on research conducted on a group of 764 seventh graders, who finally confirmed their definitely lower sympathy for school, as well as a significant use of life positions that influence the occurrence of negative interpersonal relationships.
The aim of the article is to present basic guidelines of tutoring and the possibilities of applying it while working with a shy child. Shyness constitutes one of the largest threats for the child’s social and emotional development in the preschool and school period, because it makes it difficult to establish contacts with other people, express one’s opinions, views and it also has a negative influence on one’s sense of self-worth. Therefore, the actions supporting shy people are very significant. One of them might be tutoring, which is a method of bringing out one’s potential which occurs as the result of the individual, supportive relationship with another person – the tutor. The article describes the stages of tutoring, its goals and tasks, as well as it presents the course of the author’s original tutorials – the tutor’s (the author of the article) meetings with a 12-year-old shy child.

Treating tutoring as the model of teaching and bringing up and transferring it to land of relations occurring between people, first to remember we should about personal his character, and only later about abilities of different type thanks, with which relations champion – pupil will be more and more excellent and more effective. Specific so persons and their awareness about oneself, persons living in the determined context, are most essential in tutoring and one isn't allowed about it to forget, or to belittle their meaning, for sociotechnical manipulations.

Badanie ujawniło, że tutoring – coraz bardziej powszechna i zarazem coraz mniej tajemnicza – forma współpracy nauczyciela i ucznia to okazja do rozwoju, nawiązania silnej, wspierającej i inspirującej więzi, podtrzymywania aktywności, osiągania celów i przeżywania sukcesów. Analiza wyników badań odnoszących się wyłącznie do badanych przypadków, przeprowadzona została na podstawie fenomenograficznej koncepcji Ferenca Martona. Przedstawiony fragment niniejszego badania z powodzeniem może stanowić podstawę do dalszych dociekań.

The author presents the meaning of tutoring for learning adults. Semistructured interviews with persons taking part in tutoring constitute the author’s research material. The research revealed that tutoring – more and more common and less secret form of cooperation between a student and a teacher, is a chance of development and creating a strong, comforting and inspiring bound. The one which is supporting activity, serving a student well in achieving goals and experiencing successes. Analysis of the results regarding only examined cases was based on Ferenc Marton’s phenomenographic conception. The introduced piece of study can successfully make up the basis for further research.
This article focuses on tutoring as one of the forms of personalized education. The text presents theoretical foundations that can be found in the humanistic paradigm and humanistic psychology. In the second part of the article, the author presents the results of her research, which were individual in-depth interviews conducted with people working in the spirit of personalized education (tutors and tutoring trainers). The interviews with the respondents focused on how they define tutoring, the beginnings of interest in this form of work with the student, the benefits of implementing it, the difficulties they experience in their work and reflections around the tutor.

The year 2008 brought some change in the Polish educational system. Since that year, in few secondary schools in Wrocław, a new pedagogical innovation – tutoring has been implemented. This proposal would support the traditional model of upbringing in school by creating conditions for the existence of the individual relationship between teacher-tutor and pupil. So far, tutoring has been implemented in different levels in hundreds of schools in Poland. Its implementation is usually associated with the reorganization of school system and an improvement of quality of pupil–teacher contact. This situation would not have been possible without parents’ knowledge and without their permission. But to what extent will tutoring gain their approval? Will this method brings some benefits which can be valuable for the Polish families? Does the presence of a tutor represent a chance or maybe a threat? Is the tutoring an answer for a school to problems that affect modern families? In the presented article the author hopes to show that the method of tutoring that is implemented in schools is an interesting space to study the relationship between a school and parents. Her consideration relates to her own research on the development of tutoring in the Polish educational system.

Wyraża się on obecnością m.in. różnych form tutoringu, ruchem edukacji domowej czy szkół demokratycznych.

In recent years in the Polish educational system might be noticed more pronounced trend of the personalization of education. It is expressed by the presence inter alia of various forms of tutoring, home education or democratic schools. Demographic changes, labour market challenges, and the vision of the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education indicate that personalization is an important prerequisite also for academic education. In this article this aspect will be analyzed from the perspective of the latest literature of the subject as well as own observations.
It would seem that “meeting” is an adequate synonym of term “tutoring”. This always has its time and space. Of course, the best situation is when the an unhurried and attentive meeting is based on a mutual attitude of dialogue. In transactional analysis, this form of human relationship is called intimacy. Intimacy is the most valuable type of time structure. and respectively ranks the games, activity, pastimes, ritual and withdrawal. The time structure allows specifing the kind of action plan of the individual and also the nature of its relationships with others. But what do tutors think about these issues? The following article will be an attempt to answer this question. This work will be based on partially directed interviews conducted by the author with an intentionally chosen group of teachers in schools implementing the tutoring method.

The article shows tutoring is one way for children to actively learn through contact with peers by acting as non-professional teachers. This type of learning requires interaction between more competent and less competent partners. Theoretical framework of this consideration is determined by Vygotsky’s social constructivism. This paper presents selected research about children learning from each other, exposing benefits to tutoring program’s participants in the range of cognitive, social and emotional development, as well as possible reasons for ineffectiveness in this form of children's learning.
