W XXI wieku polskie bezpośrednie inwestycje zagraniczne w Federacji Rosyjskiej zyskują coraz większą popularność. Może to wynikać z tego, że państwo rosyjskie posiada wiele surowców naturalnych na swoim terytorium, co powoduje, że dla wielu państw, w tym i Polski, po upadku ZSRR stało się ono atrakcyjnym partnerem biznesowym. W przypadku naszego kraju wyspecjalizowaliśmy się w inwestycjach w takich dziedzinach jak: handel i usługi, nieruchomości, przemysł przetwórczy. Przedsiębiorstwa z polskim kapitałem na terenie Federacji Rosyjskiej można znaleźć od Kaliningradu po Irkuck. Obu państwom zależało i nadal zależy na dalszej współpracy, czego dowodem są liczne umowy zawarte pod koniec XX wieku jak i zawierane obecnie.

In the twenty-first century Polish direct foreign investment in the Russian Federation are becoming increasingly popular.
