Możliwości wykorzystania metody TVScore do oceny znakowania opakowań na przykładzie suplementów diety

Rosnące znaczenie opakowań produktów w komunikacji rynkowej pomiędzy producentami dóbr a ich konsumentami sprawia, że niezwykle ważna okazuje się właściwa dostępność zamieszczonych na nich informacji. Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie metody TVScore, próba jej adaptacji do warunków krajowych oraz przeprowadzenie przy jej użyciu oceny oznakowania wybranych suplementów diety. Wybór tej grupy środków spożywczych do badań wynikał z takich czynników jak ciągle rosnąca sprzedaż tych produktów oraz wysoki poziom niezadowolenia konsumentów z ich oznakowania. Do oceny wytypowano dziewięć opakowań suplementów diety wspomagających odporność. Otrzymane wyniki pozwoliły na wskazanie, że w największej liczbie przypadków o niskiej dostępności oznakowania decydowała zbyt mała czcionka oraz połyskująca powierzchnia opakowań.

In the light of the growing importance of product packaging in a producer’s communication with consumers, it is of the utmost importance that the information packaging is meant to convey be made as accessible as possible. The aim of this article was to introduce the TVScore method, adapt it to the conditions in Poland and implement with its use an assessment of the product labeling of chosen dietary supplements. This group was chosen for the research for several reasons, including the steady growth in sales the market has seen and the consistently low level of satisfaction consumers feel with regard to supplement packaging. Nine items were selected to evaluate the packaging of dietary supplements marketed to boost immunity to illness. The results show that the largest number of cases with labeling deemed problematic involved packaging with fonts that were too small to read and packaging with a glossy surface.

Starannie prowadzone repozytorium to repozytorium dopasowane do całego systemu repozytoryjnego, obejmującego repozytoria instytucjonalne i dziedzinowe oraz repozytoria danych. Wymiana metadanych umożliwia powstawanie agregatorów. Ważna jest nie tylko dostępność treści w Internecie, ale również ich widoczność. Repozytoria mogą poprawiać widoczność zdeponowanych w nich treści uwzględniając wymogi wyszukiwarek internetowych, które dla wielu użytkowników są podstawowym sposobem pozyskiwania informacji naukowej. W artykule przedstawiono generalne zasady poprawiania widoczności w Internecie, a także kilka szczegółowych wskazówek.

A carefully conducted repository fits well into the whole repository system, which includes institutional and discipline repositories, as well as data repositories. It is possible to develop metadata aggregators owing to metadata exchange. Visibility is no less important than access to the materials on the Internet. Repositories can improve visibility of the deposited materials by taking into account the requirements of search engines, which are the basic means of obtaining scientific information for many users. The article presents general rules of improving online visibility and a few specific pieces of advice.

This article attempts to look at educational turn in art and its possible consequences from the perspective of contemporary female visual artists. What types of practices will be affected by educational turn? Which entities will actually benefit from it? Basing largely on her own research (in-depth interviews with female artists), the author analyses the artists’ attitudes to educational activities, which they either undertake or reject, and with respect to changes occurring in institutions of modern art that tend to be increasingly more focused on production of knowledge. Seeking to find answers to questions about the relationship between educational and artistic practices, the article also ponders on the feminisation of the sector of art and the visibility of women’s work in it.

W oparciu o teoretyczne modele kultury pedagogicznej przeanalizowano w artykule trzy współczesne inicjatywy edukacyjne w polskich szkołach publicznych. Rozważania obejmują działania związane z nauczaniem, uczeniem się i związkiem między nimi wyrażonym pojęciem edukacji. Tekst składa się z czterech części. W pierwszej zaprezentowano kulturę pedagogiczną, wyszczególniając trzy teoretyczne modele kształcenia. Druga część zawiera zestawienie pojęcia „widoczność” wywodzącego się z badań opartych na dowodach z procesami edukacyjnymi. Trzecia część przybliża w kontekście idei widocznej edukacji podstawy współczesnych inicjatyw pedagogicznych: Plan daltoński, Komunikacja bez przemocy oraz Budząca się szkoła. Ostatnia część artykułu zawiera ocenę omówionych projektów udoskonalenia edukacji szkolnej.

This article analyses three present-day educational initiatives undertaken in Polish public schools on the basis of theoretical models of pedagogical culture. Considerations are directed towards actions of teaching, learning and a relationship between them – expressed in the term of education. The text consists of four sections. The first section presents pedagogical culture developing three theoretical models of educational concept. The second section provides explanation of the term “visibility” in educational processes with reference to the evidence based research. The third part offers an insight into the foundations of current pedagogical initiatives: Dalton Plan, Non Violent Communication and School Awakening in relation to the idea of visibility. Finally, the last section reviews visibility in educational processes and describes its nature in discussed school reform projects.

Punktem wyjścia niniejszego artykułu dotyczącego tłumaczenia literackiego i jego ograniczeń jest fakt, że tłumacz zawsze pozostawia ślady w swoim produkcie. Zaobserwowane zjawisko jest omawiane z różnych punktów widzenia: z pozycji deskryptywnych studiów tłumaczeniowych, z perspektywy kulturowo-literackiej oraz z punktu widzenia tłumacza-praktyka. Szczególną uwagę poświęca się adnotacjom i innym dodatkom w tłumaczeniu. Artykuł zamyka studium przypadku, w którym za materiał do analizy posłużył Proces Franza Kafki.

The basic assumption of this article on literary translation and translation constraints, is that a translator always leaves traces in his product. This observation is discussed from various angles: from the position of descriptive translation studies, from a cultural-literary perspective, and from the practitioner’s point of view. Special attention is devoted to annotation and other additions. The article ends with a case study on Kafka’s Der Process.

Het uitgangspunt van dit artikel over literaire vertaling en vertaalbeperkingen is dat een vertaler altijd sporen achterlaat in zijn product. Deze observatie wordt vanuit verschillende invalshoeken besproken: vanuit de positie van beschrijvende vertaalstudies, vanuit een cultureel-literair perspectief en vanuit het oogpunt van de beoefenaar. Speciale aandacht wordt besteed aan annotaties en andere toevoegingen. Het artikel eindigt met een case study over Kafka’s Der Process.
