One of the main themes of the novel Prokurator Alicja Horn by Tadeusz Dolenga-Mostowicz is the woman’s place in the Polish society of the 1930s, her rights and opportunities. The introduction of the image of a woman prosecutor is ground-breaking. In the novel, the author calls his protagonist either prokurator or prokuratorka, reflecting the linguistic tendency of the time towards the formation of feminitives alongside masculine forms. Is this inconsistency intentional or accidental? Many questions arose during the translation of feminitives in the novel. Whereas in Belarusian the feminitive пракурорка sounds acceptable, in the Russian translation there are problems. Such is the case in relation to modern society (Belarusian-speaking and Russian-speaking) to feminitives. and it is far from unambiguous.

Jednym z głównych tematów powieści Prokurator Alicja Horn Tadeusza Dołęgi-Mostowicza jest miejsce kobiety w polskim społeczeństwie lat 30. XX wieku, jej prawa i możliwości. Nowością jest wprowadzenie wizerunku kobiety prokuratora. W powieści autor nazywa swoją tytułową bohaterkę prokuratorem, prokuratorką, odzwierciedlając ówczesną tendencję językową do formowania się feminatywów symetrycznie z męskimi formami. Czy ta niekonsekwencja jest zamierzona czy przypadkowa? Podczas tłumaczenia feminatywów w utworze powstało wiele pytań. O ile w języku białoruskim feminatyw пракурорка jest akceptowalny, to w tłumaczeniu na język rosyjski powstają problemy. Wynika to ze stosunku współczesnego społeczeństwa (białorusko- i rosyjskojęzycznego) do feminatywów. Nie jest on ani jednoznaczny, ani tym bardziej wspólny.

Адна з галоўных тэм рамана Prokurator Alicja Horn Тадэвуша Далэнгі-Мастовіча – месца жанчыны ў польскім грамадстве 30-х гадоў ХХ стагоддзя, яе правы і магчымасці. Навізна – увядзенне вобраза жанчыны-пракурора. У рамане аўтар называе сваю гераіню то prokurator, то prokuratorka, адлюстроўваючы тагачасную моўную тэндэнцыю да ўтварэння фемінітываў сі-метрычна з мужчынскімі формамі. Наўмысная гэта непаслядоўнасць або выпадковая? Шмат пытанняў паўстала і падчас перакладу фемінітываў у творы. Прычым калі па-беларуску фемінітыў пракурорка гучыць прымальна, то ў рускім перакладзе ўзнікаюць праблемы. Справа ў стаўленні сучаснага грамадства (беларускамоўнага і рускамоўнага) да фемінітываў. А яно далёка не адназначнае і не аднолькавае.
