Artykuł przedstawia działania podjęte w ramach projektu „Best Agers Lighthouses – Strategic Age Management For SME in The Baltic Sea Region” w celu wypracowania i wdrożenia metod zarządzania wiekiem w Urzędzie Miejskim w Kilonii (Rathaus Kiel). Opisano sekwencję działań podejmowanych w ramach procesu wdrażania interwencji. Przeanalizowano wyniki wywiadu pogłębionego przeprowadzonego wśród kierowników w pierwszym etapie przygotowywania interwencji. W podsumowaniu przedstawiono ocenę osiągniętych rezultatów wraz z określeniem kluczowych czynników wpływających na sukces i porażkę we wdrażaniu tego typu rozwiązań. Najważniejsze wnioski z przedstawionego studium przypadku wraz z zawartymi rekomendacjami mogą służyć w przygotowaniu analogicznych działań w innych organizacjach publicznych.

The article presents actions taken as a part of the “Best Agers Lighthouses: Strategic Age Management for SMEs in the Baltic Sea Region” project for the purpose of developing and implementing methods of age management in Kiel City Hall. The sequence of actions taken as a part of the process of intervention implementation is described together with the analysis of the in–depth interviews conducted among managers in the first step of the process. The summary presents an evaluation of the results and indicates key factors influencing success or failure in the implementation of such solutions. Findings from the presented case study and recommendations may be utilized in analogous actions in other public organizations.
