A contemporary religion teacher faces many threats in their service. Their role in moral formation of a pupil is often not effective because the teachers don’t get any support from the pupils’ family. Therefore, not only religion teachers but also responsible educators are needed who will be able to shape human and Christian values in their pupils. The school together with religion teachers and educators should create a climate conducive to the Christian education of the responsibility and love of truth. A good moral aspect in the formation of the student are also retreats and days of recollection connected with departure. They are not only part of the formation, but also help in the personal experience of meeting with the Lord. In this way the religion teacher’s work can become the essential element of upbringing to responsibility and it can have an influence on the correct formation of conscience. It would be perfect if the religion teacher’s effort could only support the upbringing that children and young people receive in their families but unfortunately the religion teachers have not enough influence on it. Hence it would be great if the moral formation could be started from the parents first.

Katecheta współczesny napotyka wiele zagrożeń w swej posłudze. Jego rola w formacji moralnej ucznia jest często mało skuteczna, gdyż nie znajduje wsparcia ze strony rodziny. Dlatego też obok katechetów potrzebni są odpowiedzialni wychowawcy, którzy pomogą kształtować w wychowankach wartości ludzkie i chrześcijańskie. Szkoła wraz z katechetami i wychowawcami, powinna stworzyć klimat sprzyjający chrześcijańskiemu wychowaniu do odpowiedzialności i umiłowania prawdy. Dobrym środkiem w formacji moralnej ucznia stają się także rekolekcje czy dni skupienia połączone z wyjazdem. Są one nie tylko elementem formacji, ale i pomocą w osobistym doświadczeniu spotkania z Panem, Praca Katechety może stać się w ten sposób elementem wychowania do odpowiedzialności i wpływać na poprawną formację sumienia. Byłoby idealnie gdyby wysiłek katechety jedynie wspomagał wychowanie jakie dzieci i młodzież otrzymują w rodzinach, ale na to katecheta ma niestety – niewielki wpływ. Dlatego też dobrze by było aby formację moralną zacząć od rodziców.

Artykuł podejmuje ważny temat relacji katechetyki z pedagogiką. Wychodząc z założenia, że konieczność pedagogiki w katechezie jest rzeczą oczywistą, próbuje się ukazać nie tyle samą potrzebę pedagogiki w katechezie, ile dużo bardziej jej miejsce i rolę w refleksji naukowej nad katechezą. W tym celu zostały omówione następujące kwestie: rozwój relacji pedagogiki do katechezy w historii katechetyki, natura wychowawcza katechezy stanowiąca fundament jej dialogu z pedagogiką, ostrożność w otwartości katechezy na pedagogikę, dialog interscyplinarny katechetyki i pedagogiki, poszukiwania kierunków tego dialogu. Na koniec zostają sformułowane wyzwania pod adresem dalszej refleksji, wśród których podkreśla się konieczność określenia zasad dla wykorzystania pedagogiki w katechezie. Całość kończy się stwierdzeniem, że poszukiwania relacji katechetyki z pedagogiką muszą być naznaczone duchem wiary, gdyż wiara jest duszą katechezy inspirującą cały wysiłek pedagogiczny w nauczaniu religii.

The article develops an important theme about the relationship between catechetics and pedagogy. Assuming that there is a need for pedagogy in catechesis, the Author tries to show not only the need for pedagogy in catechesis, but much more its place and role in the scientific reflection on catechesis. For this purpose, the following issues were discussed: the development of relations between pedagogy and catechetics in the history of theology, educational nature of catechetics that constitutes the foundation of its dialogue with pedagogy, a warning about openness catechetics on pedagogy, interdisciplinary dialogue between catechetics and pedagogy and searching for the ways of that dialogue. At the end there are some identified challenges at further reflection, among which it is underline the need of using pedagogy in catechetics. The whole concludes that the search for catechetics relationship with pedagogy must be marked by a spirit of faith, because faith is the soul of catechesis, inspiring all educational effort in the teaching of religion.

Articolo assume il tema della relazione fra catechesi e la pedagogia. Non è tanto un tentativo di mostrare la stessa necessità di pedagogia nella catechesi come piuttosto il suo posto e il ruolo nella riflessione scientifica sulla catechesi. A tal fine, tratta le seguenti tematiche: sviluppo delle relazioni tra pedagogia per la catechesi nella storia della catechetica, natura educativa della catechesi che costituisce il fondamento del suo dialogo con la pedagogia, cautela di catechesi in apertura alla pedagogia, dialogo interdisciplinare fra catechetica e pedagogia e ricercarne il senso. Alla fine formula sfide a un’ulteriore riflessione. Il tutto si conclude con un’affermazione che la ricerca di relazioni fra la catechesi e la pedagogia deve essere contrassegnato da spirito di fede, perché la fede è l’anima della catechesi, che ispira ogni sforzo educativo nell’insegnamento della religione.

Der Artikel unternimmt das wichtige Thema der Relation zwischen der Katechetik und der Pädagogik. Wenn man von der Voraussetzung ausgeht, dass die Pädagogik in der Katechetik eine offenbare Angelegenheit ist, versucht man nicht nur auf den Gebrauch der Pädagogik, sondern auch auf ihre Stellung und ihre Rolle im wissenschaftlichen Nachdenken über die Katechetik hinzudeuten. Um das zu erreichen wurden folgende Fragen besprochen: die Entwicklung der Relation zwischen der Katechese und der Pädagogik in der Katechetikgeschichte; die erziehende Natur von der Katechese, die eine Grundlage für ihre Dialog mit der Pädagogik bildet, die Vorsichtigkeit in der Offenheit der Katechese der Pädagogik gegenüber; interdisziplinäres Dialog zwischen der Katechetik und der Pädagogik und die Suche nach der Richtungen diese Dialog. Zum Schluss wurden die Forderungen formuliert, die zur weiteren Reflexion bewegen. Unter denen betont man die Notwendigkeit, die Regeln für die Verwendung der Pädagogik in der Katechese zu definieren. Das Ganze endet mit der Feststellung, dass die Suche nach der Relation zwischen der Pädagogik und der Katechetik mit dem Geist des Glaubens gekennzeichnet werden muss. Der Glaube ist denn die Seele von der Katechese, die den ganzen pädagogischen Aufwand bei dem Religionsunterricht anregt.

This article deals with the dilemma related to the purpose of upbringing. M. Foucault's concept of care of the self and J. Patočka's works allow us to ask questions about the goal of education. Is it to become an intellectual or a spiritual person? The possibility of such a distinction is embedded in the ethics of care of the self, an ancient tradition, which even nowadays, among others, thanks to P. Sloterdijk or Foucault himself, has become an important category. An ethical attitude towards the self opens the way to spirituality through a set of appropriate practices. It becomes the basis for relations with others and with the world.

W artykule został podjęty dylemat związany z celem wychowania. Koncepcja troski o siebie M. Foucaulta oraz prace J. Patočki pozwalają na postawienie pytania dotyczącego celu wychowania. Czy owym celem ma być intelektualista czy człowiek duchowy? Możliwość takiego rozróżnienia osadzona jest w etyce troski o siebie, starożytnej tradycji, która obecnie, min. za sprawą P. Sloterdijka, czy samego M. Foucaulta pojawia się jako kategoria istotna również współcześnie. Etyczna postawa wobec siebie otwiera drogę do duchowości poprzez zespół odpowiednich praktyk. Staje się ona podstawą relacji z innymi i ze światem.
