Prace Monograficzne Uniwersytetu Pedagogicznego im. KEN w Krakowie publikowane są od 1963 roku. Periodyk szybko stał się, obok “Annales Universitatis Paedagogicae Cracoviensis”, jednym z najważniejszych wydawnictw Uniwersytetu Pedagogicznego w Krakowie. Artykuł prezentuje charakterystykę Prac Monograficznych, w tym wielkość, treść, opis dodatkowych numerów, układ strony i projekt graficzny. Głównym celem Prac Monograficznych jest prezentacja prac naukowych z różnych dziedzin, napisanych przez polskich autorów, przede wszystkim z Uniwersytetu Pedagogicznego w Krakowie, ale także przez autorów z innych ośrodków badawczych.

The Scientific Monographs of the Pedagogical University of Cracow have been published since 1963. The periodical quickly became, besides “Annales Universitatis Paedagogicae Cracoviensis”, the second most important journal of the Pedagogical University of Cracow. The article presents the characteristics of The Scientific Monographs, including size, content, description of the additional numbers, page layout and graphic design. The main objective of The Scientific Monographs is to present scientific work from diverse fields, written mainly by Polish authors from the Pedagogical University of Cracow, but also by authors from other research centers.
