Logoterapia Viktora Emila Frankla w psychoterapii i poradnictwie psychologicznym

The paper describes the origin and application of a method of psychotherapy, called logotherapy, created by Viktor Emil Frankl. The main principles of logotherapy were presented. The aims and techniques of logotherapy as a specific therapeutic approach were discussed. The authors pay attention to connections of logotherapy and existential psychotherapy and show advantages of logotherapy, especially in overcoming the reductionism in concepts of man in psychotherapy and counseling. The potential of logotherapy is shown in the field of mental suffering of a patient, especially in the context of the meaning of life and existential frustration. The attention is paid to applying the principles of logotherapy to other schools of psychotherapy and counseling. The article points out also a possibility to make use of logotherapy in the noetic sphere of a patient.

W artykule opisano genezę i zastosowanie logoterapii (metody psychoterapii), której twórcą jest Viktor Emil Frankl. Zaprezentowano główne założenia tego nurtu psychoterapii, omówiono cele i techniki logoterapii rozumianej jako specyficzne podejście terapeutyczne. Szczególną uwagę zwrócono na związki logoterapii z psychologią egzystencjalną oraz na walory logoterapii, zwłaszcza w przezwyciężaniu redukcjonistycznej koncepcji człowieka w psychoterapii i poradnictwie psychologicznym. Ukazano potencjał logoterapii w podejściu do cierpienia psychicznego pacjenta, szczególnie w kontekście sensu życia i doświadczania frustracji egzystencjalnej. Podkreślono możliwość włączania założeń logoterapii do innych szkół psychoterapii i poradnictwa psychologicznego. Ponadto wskazano na możliwość wykorzystania logoterapii w pracy z pacjentem nad jego sferą noetyczną.
