Postęp w zakresie zrównoważonego rozwoju jest wciąż niewystarczający pomimo wielu inicjatyw podejmowanych w globalnej i lokalnej skali. Dotyczy to także turystyki zrównoważonej. Nie wszystkie jej elementy mimo nazwy spełniają kryteria zrównoważonego rozwoju. Stopień zrównoważenia turystyki można jednak znacznie zwiększyć, przekształcając konwencjonalnie działających wytwórców usług turystycznych w zrównoważone podmioty gospodarcze. Wymaga to istotnych zmian w strukturze zasobów, którymi dysponują. Kluczowe znaczenie mają w tym przypadku zrównoważone zasoby ludzkie, a więc personel złożony z kierowników i pracowników wykonawczych, angażujących się w zrównoważony rozwój. Taki personel daje gwarancję, że wytyczone cele ekologiczne i społeczne będą sprawnie realizowane. Głównym celem artykułu jest prezentacja modelowych rozwiązań dotyczących struktury zasobów zrównoważonych wytwórców usług turystycznych oraz ich atrybutów. Podjętej analizie towarzyszy charakterystyka zrównoważonych zasobów według własnej autorskiej koncepcji, która stanowi nie tylko inspirację do dalszej naukowej penetracji tematu, ale także podstawę praktycznego tworzenia zrównoważonych przedsiębiorstw turystycznych.

The progress in the area of sustainable development is still insufficient despite many initiatives taken at the global and the local scale. This insufficient progress also applies to sustainable tourism. In fact, it is only partially sustainable because not all of its components meet the criteria of sustainable development. The degree of sustainability of tourism can be greatly increased by transforming conventionally operating manufacturers of tourist services into sustainable enterprises. This requires revolutionary changes in the structure of resources that they have. All the resources of this type of enterprises should be sustainable. Sustainable human resources play the key role in the area; such a staff consists of managers and operational employees engaging in sustainable development. They guarantee the effective realization of ecological and social objectives. The main aim of this article is to present the model solutions for the structure of resources of sustainable producers of tourist services and their attributes. With the proposed solutions, tourism will to a greater extent contribute to balancing intergenerational needs.
