Postrzeganie przez młodzież uczniowską terenów zielonych Szczecina

W strukturze przestrzennej miasta obszary zielone pełnią wielofunkcyjne zadania w zakresie ochrony oraz kształtowania środowiska i klimatu. Decydują one także o krajobrazie miejskim, rozwoju rekreacji i doznań estetycznych oraz pełnią funkcje społeczno-usługowe na rzecz mieszkańców. Przeprowadzone badania ankietowe wśród uczniów szczecińskich szkół średnich wykazują, że relatywnie wysoki jest odsetek młodzieży usatysfakcjonowanej stopniem zazielenienia swego najbliższego otoczenia w miejscu zamieszkania. Jednocześnie większość badanych oceniła zasoby terenów zielonych w przestrzeni całego miasta jako zbyt małe. Respondenci wykazali się także dużą znajomością terenów zielonych Szczecina i okolic, zróżnicowaną jednakże z uwagi na profil klasy, typ szkoły oraz miejsce zamieszkania.

In the spatial structure of the town, the greens fulfill multifunctional tasks in the field of protection and shaping of the environment and the climate. They also decide about the urban landscape, development of recreation and esthetic sensations as well as fulfill the social and service functions for citizens. The poll investigations carried out among the young citizens from secondary schools in Szczecin revealed that relatively high percentage of youth was satisfied as far as the degree of greenery in their neighbourhood was concerned. Simultaneously the most of school children estimated that resources of greens within the space of the whole city were too small. Respondents demonstrated a great knowledge of green ares in Szczecin and its neighbourhood. Certain differentiation depended on a profile of class, a type of school and a place of residence.
