This article deals with neoliberal threats to the professional development of teachers as one of the professional groups. These threats have of non-military nature, their origin lies in the assumptions of neoliberalism as an ideology and constructed in accordance with these assumptions a socio-economic order called “the neoliberal culture” or “the free market”. The problem was embedded in the context of education (pedagogy) for safety, understood as the pedagogical field and humanistic scientific reflection on the essence and conditions of security.

Artykuł dotyczy neoliberalnych zagrożeń rozwoju zawodowego nauczycieli jako jednej z grup zawodowych. Zagrożenia mają charakter niemilitarny, ich geneza tkwi w założeniach neoliberalizmu jako ideologii społecznej oraz w konstruowanym w myśl tych założeń ładzie społeczno-gospodarczym zwanym kulturą neoliberalną lub wolnym rynkiem. Całość problemu została osadzona w kontekście edukacji dla bezpieczeństwa rozumianej jako pole pedagogicznej i humanistycznej refleksji naukowej nad istotą i uwarunkowaniami bezpieczeństwa.
