W artykule omawia się problematykę związaną z przyczynami tworzenia jednostkowych budżetów podmiotów gospodarczych, jak i z wdrażaniem systemów budżetowania w przedsiębiorstwach. Analizuje on cele budżetowania jako element usystematyzowanego zarządzania przedsiębiorstwem. Ujęcie celów budżetowania prezentuje się w odniesieniu do klasycznej 5-czynnikowej definicji zarządzania oraz w odniesieniu do klasycznych form budżetu działalności operacyjnej.

The article discusses problems related to the reasons for creating unitary budgets of business entities, as well as the implementation of budgeting systems in enterprises. It analyzes budgeting goals as part of a systematic business management. The conceptualization of budgeting goals is presented in relation to the classical 5-factorial definition of management and in relation to the classic forms of the operating budget.
