Model adaptacji osobowości jest interesujący, ale trudny do zastosowania przez osoby szkolące się jako terapeuci i praktykujących terapeutów, którzy osiągnęli impas ze swoim klientem. Autor przedstawia alternatywną wersję adaptacji osobowości. Model opiera się na analizie struktury osobowości, procesu komunikacji oraz opisie osi czasu. Doświadczenie postrzegania czasu przekłada się na nasze zachowania komunikacyjne. Proponowany model diagnozy charakteryzuje proces komunikacji, zaś zmiana wzoru komunikacji ma prowadzić do zmiany zachowania i osobowości.

Personality adaptation model is interesting but difficult for individuals training to become therapists and for practicing therapists who have reached an impasse with their client. The author presents another version of the adaptation of personality. The model is based on analysis of personality structure and communication process and describes timeline – how we characterise chronological time in the space around us. The diagnosis describes the communication process. Change in the pattern of communication is to lead to a change in behaviour and personality.
