Ángel-Luis Pujante is Professor of English at the University of Murcia, Spain. He is the author of El manuscrito shakespeariano de Manuel Herrera Bustamante (2001). He is the co-editor of More European Shakespeares (2001, with Keith Gregor) and Four Hundred Years of Shakespeare in Europe (2003, with Ton Hoenselaars). He has published annotated Spanish translations of twenty of Shakespeare’s plays to date, and of Middleton’s A Game at Chess. He is currently working on Shakespeare’s reception in Spain and Europe and is the head of a research project on Shakespeare’s presence in Spain in the framework of his European reception
