The article is a polemic on Samuel Huntington's book 'Clash of Civilizations and the Remaking of World Order'. The author demonstrates the spuriousness of the respective theses, the artificiality of the division of civilizations which has been perpetrated and the unsoundness of the methodologies employed to research the phenomena. He also draws attention to the inconsistencies and discrepancies between specific excerpts from the American political scientist's book. He charges Huntington with intellectual racism, academic dishonesty and the expression of formulae which are a threat to international security. Not devoid of emotion, the article is academic polemic on both the assumptions of the concept of 'clashes of civilizations' and their political and moral implications and indications. It is the first such downright and fundamental attack on the theses of Samuel Huntington, as contained in the book 'Clash of Civilizations', to have come forth from the soil of Poland.
