The paper presents a basic scope of graphological analysis and projections of types of personality from the analysis in the processes of recruitment and selection. Handwritten documents, such as CVs, applications, motivation letters, are the subject of analysis. Graphological analysis supports recruitment and selection processes, but not definitely determines the effects of these processes. Usually, graphological methods are applied in pre-selection of candidates and enable preliminary elimination of ca. 30% of job applicants substantially reducing labour intensity, time and costs of recruitment and selection
