The meridian period of the academic poetry in our provisions terminating in the period of the years 1540-1620, had also risen in the production of the printing office in Bardejov. The Town Bardejov already in 16th century belonged to the developed cultural and administration centres with fruity literary background, of course also the printing office in Bardejov belonged to the some consistent functioned printing offices in our area on the end of 16th century. Under the considerable literary works of this printing office comes poetry of Joannes Bocatius - above all the collection of the poetry 'Hungaridos libri poematium quinque', but the biggest count of the stamped works, was printing of poetry, which was knitted with events of life of the citizens from Bardejov as marriage, funeral..., but also with the capital social problems, as for example the Turkish dangerousness. The study doesn't examine the literary value of the occasional poetry, but it parses the formal aspect of the poetry impressions published in Bardejov - above all its front pages, language, character of the founts... Literary importance of the occasional poetry is yet not certified, but it is still interesting, because shows the relationships between important people - the citizens of the town and illustrates also the social relations in modern renaissance and reformation world.
