(Title in Ukrainian - 'Prefiksy na poznachennja nedostatn'ogo stupenja projavu oznaky v istoriyi ukrayins'koyi movy i yikh suchasnyi status'). In this article, the authoress proves the necessity to accept the prefixation with prefixes pri- and po- as a method of building adjectives in the insufficient grade of quality. Based on the structural and semantic analysis of adjectives fixed in Ukrainian relicts of the 11- 20th centuries, she shows that this function characterized them from Old Slavonic language till our days.
