Cieľom príspevku je analýza estetickej skúsenosti z hľadiska jej dynamiky a vývoja vo vzťahu k slobode. Autor načrtáva možnosti slobodnejšieho prístupu k vlastnej estetickej skúsenosti. Okrem kognitívnovedných výskumov využíva aj komplementárne pohľady vychádzajúce zo spirituality. Keď si človek dokáže uvedomiť automatické tendencie procesov súvisiacich s vnímaním krásy, môže ich začať aktívnejšie ovplyvňovať. Vďaka slobode môžeme čiastočne dlhodobo formovať svoju estetickú skúsenosť, na druhej strane zase vnímanie krásy nás môže existenciálne ovplyvniť a posunúť naše porozumenie celku skutočnosti, naše hodnoty a ciele tak, že ideál formovania vlastnej estetickej skúsenosti budeme vidieť v novom svetle.

The aim of this contribution is to provide an analysis of the aesthetic experience from the point-of-view of its dynamics and its development in their relantionship to freedom. The author outlines the possibility of a freer approach to one’s own aesthetic experience. In addition to cognitive-scientific investigations it also makes use of complementary glimpses arising from spirituality. When a person can manage to become aware of the automatic propensities of the processes connected with the perception of beauty, he or she can begin to actively influence them. Owing to this freedom we can, in part, form our aesthetic experience over the long term; on the other hand, the perception of beauty can, in turn, have an impact on us in an existential sense and shift our understanding of the whole of reality, our values and goals such that we shall see the ideal of the formation of our own aesthetic experience in a new light.

Ziel des vorliegenden Beitrags ist eine Analyse der ästhetischen Erfahrung hinsichtlich ihrer Dynamik und ihrer Entwicklung im Bezug auf die Freiheit. Der Autor skizziert Möglichkeiten eines freieren Zugangs zur eigenen ästhetischen Erfahrung. Neben kognitiv-wissenschaftlichen Untersuchungen verwendet er auch komplementäre Denkansätze, die von der Spiritualität ausgehen. Wenn der Mensch in der Lage ist, sich die automatischen Tendenzen der Prozesse im Zusammenhang mit der Wahrnehmung von Schönheit bewusst zu machen, so kann er diese aktiv beeinflussen lernen. Durch die Freiheit können wir unsere ästhetische Erfahrung teilweise langfristig beeinflussen, wobei uns die Wahrnehmung von Schönheit auf der anderen Seite auch existenziell beeinflussen und unser Verständnis für das Ganze, unsere Werte und Ziele so weiterbringen kann, dass wir das Ideal der Gestaltung unserer eigenen ästhetischen Erfahrung in einem neuen Licht sehen werden.
