Cílem této práce je popsat, které strategie zvládání stresu používají řidiči sanitek a jaký je vztah těchto strategií k jiným proměnným (typ temperamentu, množství nehod a přestupků, aspirační úroveň apod.). Výsledky ukazují např. na souvislost negativních strategií zvládání stresu a vysoké míry neuroticismu, dále pak nízké aspirační úrovně a negativních strategií zvládání stresu apod. Skupina řidičů sanitek se ukazuje jako psychicky odolnější oproti běžné populaci – např. více používá pozitivní strategie zvládání stresu, má nižší míru neuroticismu apod.

The goal of this research is to describe types of coping strategies by drivers of salvage and rescue service and their reference to other variables (types of temperament, amount of accidents and offences etc.). The results show connections between negative types of coping and high level of neuroticism, further low aspiration level and negative strategies of stress coping etc. These drivers use more often positive stress-coping strategies, have lower level of neuroticism etc.
