Innovation in its various forms has long been recognized as critical to firms' competitive advantage. Competitiveness of companies and nations is highly dependent on the ability to innovate. In case of Polish industrial enterprises it is rather low and decreasing. On the other hand, effective functioning of Polish enterprises in the EU market demands brave and proper innovation policy.
