The biotechnological progress in the field of medicine implies completely new moral problems, for example linked with medical experiments on humans. One can notice development of new jurisprudence (biojurisprudence) and creation of biolaw. Several tentatives settling the main bioethical problems prove the collision of religious thought and secular ethic; of biotechnological optimism with biotechnological pessimism. It should be pointed out that in Polish jurisprudence bioethics is frequently considered from the perspective of Christian personalism. The pessimistic biotechnological attitude is reflected in the Polish biojurisprudence and law system.
